Processing times are a GUIDELINE.

Technicians can make mistakes too but what matters most is knowing how to correct them and understanding why they happened.

Here’s a checklist to follow if you experience this during a lash lift:

Ensure your Lift Lotion is active.
Ensure the consistency of your formula is correct.
Make sure if you used Balm it was applied correctly.
Make sure the plastic wrap is properly sealed.

In my case, the issue was the consistency of the lotion it was TOO THICK.

The solution? Adjust the formula according to the product’s instructions by adding more Lift Lotion to thin it out, or prepare a new step 1 mixture.

Remember, mistakes happen to even the most experienced technicians. What sets you apart is your ability to troubleshoot, learn from the experience, and understand the why behind the result.

Knowledge is power, and knowing how to correct an issue is just as important as knowing how to perform the service.

Have you been wanting a Korean lash lift but feel a little nervous to try one?

A Korean lash lift is customized to each client’s eye shape, natural lash length, and desired result. That’s why a thorough consultation before starting your service is so important!

Communicate your concerns with your technician and let them know whether you prefer a soft, natural curl or something more dramatic. Your lash lift should be tailored to YOU.

As a lash technician, understanding curl selection and the WHY behind it makes all the difference.

For a softer, more natural curl: An M or LC curl can be a great option, creating a more subtle result as your lashes grow out.

For a more lifted, dramatic look: A V or L curl may be better suited to achieving that extra lift and definition.

It’s not just about choosing a curl that looks pretty. It’s about understanding your client’s natural lashes, eye shape, and desired outcome.

Still unsure which curl is right for you? Don’t be afraid to try something new! We can always reassess your results at your next appointment and adjust the curl to better suit your preferences.

Communication is key. Your technician is there to guide you, answer your questions, and help you feel confident in your results.

Let’s talk about lash grow out 👇

Have you hit the 4 week mark and realized what the heck is happening to my lashes? This is where the rod selection matters.

Now many people come in wanting a dramatic lift, but with that comes a dramatic grow out. It’s not only about the aftercare 👀

This is my client Annie, as you can see her 7 week grow out was still super lifted as we used a L curl. She came in wanting something more soft because of the grow out.

Dramatic isn’t always the results we want, especially if you want to ensure your lash grows out more naturally.

Save this post or send it to your lash artist and talk about the grow out!

If you’re one of my clients concerned about the grow out send me a dm and we’ll chat 🤍 by @lorinestudio
