Today makes 5 years since I lost my mom. I can’t say it feels less or more. The biggest hole that I can still feel throughout my entire body. Such a tragic loss, not because losing a mother is hard, but because Tamea was truly a masterpiece of a human being. I would take my short 23 years with her than a lifetime with anyone else.

I never had a traditional childhood. I was raised by a single mother, who taught me my dreams could be as big as the ocean. She taught me the world was limitless and she engrained that into my brian as young as 4 years old. I almost had to repeat the 1st grade because she would drop me off at school 3 hours late every morning because my mom and I would take our morning baths together and watch the documentary “the secret”(the Law of Attraction short film that I most definitely can quote all the way though). She called it our bonding time because she said we didn’t get enough of it.
She taught me the importance of understanding the law of attraction, which was maybe the most incredible gift one could ever give a child. the only time I ever got trouble was when I came home and asked her how could we afford something and she said DONT YOU EVER SAY WE CANT AFFORD SOMETHING THAT ISNT IN OUR VOCABULARY (still isn’t in my vocabulary, catch me ever saying that statement and I’ll Venmo you $10).
I grew up watching my mother save lives, changing peoples lives with years of addiction and I got to be a witness to that! What a gift! I saw her work endlessly to give US a life she never had and we had the most beautiful life together. She never made it seem hard, never let me see her struggle, and I’m still so inspired by her every day.

I miss you so much mom, you literally nailed it as a mom. I’m so grateful for everything you’ve done for me - I’ll never understand how you did it all. You are my best friend and I’ll never stop missing you for the rest of my life. I love you. taken in Hawaii by @lorinsisco

first two weeks in Indonesia with my best friends & we found out where all the angels hang out.

simon being here means i now have more photos than i’ve had all year. i don’t even know how to begin posting any of it, but this week felt too magical not to share.
