One of my favorite color worlds from Ode to Color is what I call Earthly — deep rust, burnt orange, that almost-brown red. It's basically fall, but early. I start craving it before the weather even catches up.⁠

Quick tip: if you want to feel a color mood before you can actually redecorate for it, light a candle. Something warm and a little smoky does more to shift a room than you'd think.⁠

Just finished a photoshoot in the Hamptons and had a bit of time to visit The Long House Reserve. I miss Jack every day- what a privilege it was to work with such a genius. I'm pleased to see it all looking beautiful. He'd be pleased too.⁠

I can’t help but start the week reminiscing about @scanhouse’s The Cold Stitch, which brings together artists from across Scandinavia. I visited last week as part of New York Textile Month, and it was a wonderful reminder of how much inspiration textiles offer, both here in New York and around the world.⁠

And a special shoutout to Ragna Froda, @frodadottir, for being so lovely and welcoming. I especially love what she says about textiles:⁠
