Mama, I made it. ♡

I took on the challenge of completing part of my Master’s in Nursing this year, and safe to say it was a challenge indeed.

I officially finished my prescribing course, and I can now add 𝐀𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐍𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐫 & 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐫 to my title. 🥹

I genuinely can’t thank @synergy_aesthetics enough for guiding me through this process, supporting me and believing in me during the moments I didn’t quite believe in myself.

Prescribing for someone is a huge responsibility. It might not always look like it from the outside, but there is so much knowledge, judgement, accountability and trust that comes with it. There were definitely moments this year where I questioned whether I was ready to take on that responsibility.

But this year taught me so much more than prescribing.

It taught me about discipline when motivation disappears, backing myself when things feel overwhelming, and continuing to show up even when I didn’t feel ready.

It taught me a lot about myself mentally, financially and emotionally. And looking back now, I think that was probably the biggest part of the journey.

What a privilege it is to be tired from pursuing something you once only dreamed you could do.

So here’s to the late nights, the self-doubt, the moments I wanted to give up, and ultimately choosing to keep going anyway.

A little reminder that you don’t always realise you’re growing while you’re in it. Sometimes you only look back and realise just how far you’ve come. ♡
