another successful @recklessruncrew ray’s to ray’s YAY! on our first year we had 75 runners and this year we had 150+ (and over 500 people on the waitlist 🤯) every year i am so overjoyed and humbled to see so many people want to run our silly race and wear my designs!! here are some of my favorite shots from thursday night ❤️‍🔥big thank you to @raysbarbk, @raysbarnyc, @on, @jackgilbert_ and all of the volunteers for making this happen! and to @jptagram_ duh for being the best co-race director and partner :) let’s do it again next year📸 @tinabearden_ @keefshoots @thats_so_mo.a.f by @lorragram

one last post about NYCM and moonshot and then i’m done i swear!! 🩷 having the opportunity to pace @nikenyc’s first all-women edition of project moonshot meant the world!! at orientation we were told to write one word to summarize the training block we wanted to have but i drew a blank. everyone kept telling me to think about what my “why” was, to which i would say i don’t know, because i did 9+1??! i didn’t realize until our 22 mile run that my “why” all along was being able to help the group of women i was running with reach their moonshot.what’s next? my first season without a race in a really long time!! my body (i.e. my femur) needs some recovery from doing a fall, then spring, then another fall marathon. enjoying reliving my glory days of classpass and lifting and eventually running just for FUN for a bit and i have my eyes set on some cool races next fall or even spring 2027 👀📸 1 @carlnard, 3 + 10 @umpz, 5 7 8 + 9 @stefaniacurto by @lorragram

it will change you 🩷my mantra on sunday was “forward is a pace.” i finished a whopping 50 minutes slower than my PR six months ago but surprised myself by finishing with the biggest smile on my face!! i just kept telling myself to get to the next place i would see my people — get to reckless at mile 12, get to mile 13, get to 13.7, get to 19, get to 20, get to 21 and then the next thing i knew i only had five miles left to go. when i ran new york as my first marathon in 2022 i only knew one run club cheering and yesterday i felt love from 6+ clubs i’ve run with since, and from friends that i never would have met over the last four years if it weren’t for this silly little hobby i’ve found. thank you running for changing my life and changing me for the better, yesterday changed me too📸 @dhash by @lorragram

i’ve been on cloud nine since wednesday night after we came back with year two of RAY’S TO RAY’S (a rayce!!) with over 100 runners 🥹 the goal was to put on a race that anyone, no matter what pace or who they ran with would feel welcome and just have FUN at. @dadarria put it best — it was “a deeply unserious and incredibly necessary good time” ❤️‍🔥a HUGE thank you @on @jackgilbert_ for helping us make this happen as well as @withforte.co @vito_lentini @conorbuck, all of our volunteers, @cheribundi and @bravosierra_usa and all of our photographers for capturing everything (it took me days to make this post because narrowing down selects from so many incredible photos was the hardest thing ever)! and, of course, thank you @raysbarnyc @raysbarbk for always being down to clown. @jptagram_ should we start an event planning business??now i have to figure out how i can beat this year’s shirt design next year 👀📸 @dhash @dadarria @bfa by @lorragram
