Throwback Thursday ~ found this picture on a website about “A Bright Room Called Day” by Tony Kushner ~ didn’t even recognize myself at first lol ~ but that’s me channeling Zillah Katz, punk Jewess from Brooklyn, brimming with hatred & anger at Ronald Reagan, believing him to be the next Hitler, & communicating across time with a group of artists in Berlin as The Weimar Republic was being overtaken by Nazism. What a time it was in the fall of 1987. November ~ Mary Mason our Managing Director & rock, died of breast cancer just as Sigrid (Wurschmidt) was diagnosed with breast cancer. The Amazing cast, playwright/director, producers & stage manager of Douglas Carter Beane’s “The Behavior of Light”. It was a staged reading & silent art auction ~ a Benefit for The Glide Foundation. We raised more than $16K for Glide ~ & the audience cheered at the end of the performance. Pure joy all around ✨♥️ by @lorrilooks
