At this point everyone has commented on this topic and I’m curious to hear from you all so what are your views on the recent Jay Z Target Deal? Is this just business and should be viewed as such? Should people be so critical of Jay Z when this may be a master plan for him to get Black Business back in Target or is this just a sell out move and Jay Z is about Profit over Principle? If you know anything about September, you KNOW @natashaglover31 has the biggest Bornday celebration every year. This year it is happening simultaneously during @buffalostate homecoming weekend which is a weekend of activities and amazing events bringing people from all over New York State together. Join us on Friday September 18th from 8 to 2 @poizelounge716 (2081 Niagara Street, Buffalo New York).

On Saturday see all the homecoming activities in the group Buffalo State Homecoming and make sure you attend. Lastly, many of you know Tasha from the Buffalo State campus so spread the word. She is permitting all Buffalo State Alum to come celebrate with her at her invite only event. Just wear your Buffalo State wrist band and put on some Tropical Attire. Rest in Power to the Legendary “Black Ice” from Def Poetry Jam @thelegendaryblackice . Your poetry was always amazing and I will never forget what you provided to the students at @ccbcmd while I worked there and served as the Advisor to Micology. When I ran to the train station to pick you up to bring you to the Campus our “build” was epic. You shared many gems. Seeing this news come across my feed on social media is crazy. The last time we spoke was 2014 but I continued to watch your posts and would tune into your poetry. Never thought I’d read you joined the ancestors. Especially today. Damn…Life is too short.
