Built-in versus a walk-in; built-in I don’t loose circulation space. A walk-in…I can throw my crap in. When you’re tight on space or a minimalist, a built-in is perfect for all your hanging & organizational needs. #houstoncabinets #eadobuilder #eastendhouston #eastendliving taken in East End, Houston by @los_dos_design_build

If you’re purchasing a home with an attached garage, please ask your builder, realtor, architect to address better air sealing details for your health and safety. If you already own a home, you can still effectively air seal it but please do it! #eastendhouston #eastendbuilder #eastendrealtor #houstontx #houstonbuilder #houstoncustombuilder #airsealing #siga #houstoneastend #houstonrealtors #iaq by @los_dos_design_build

How your home is designed and built determines the quality of how you live in it. Air sealing matters! Current code is 5ACH (air changes per hour); our houses typically receive a 1.25 ACH 💪🏽 If your builder is doing LESS air sealing, then there’s no doubt you have more dust, moisture and air intruding into your home which leads to mold and other problems. Got asthma? Got allergies? Got lungs? It matters. The more air tight our buildings, and we mechanically and systematically bring in fresh filtered air, the better you feel and the lower your utility bills. Want more information or have questions? Let me know, Houston. We’re here to help educate our buyers. #eastendbuilder #eastendhomes #houstonbuilders #prettygoodhouse #designbuildhouston #customhoustonhome #2ndUrban #zippanel #2aclimate #houston by @los_dos_design_build

Regular insulation batts are fine if you want a D+ in building homes. We have the technology to do better; yes it costs more but you’re paying 500K+ for homes inside the loop and location shouldn’t be the only factor when purchasing a home. Performance matters, it leads to lower utility bills, better indoor air quality, longevity of a home, and better indoor comfort. #eastendhouston #eastendbuilder #2ndurban #houstonhomesforsale #qualityhoustonbuilder #opencellsprayfoam by @los_dos_design_build

Meeting @risingerbuild on the #aiaaustin home tour was an honor and humbling. Matt’s blog is dedicated to building science and fine craftsmanship, and he encourages our community of builders to put quality and integrity into the homes we build. Katy and I feel honored to be part of that small change for our #houstontxbuilder community. Our focus is to bring our customers a durable, healthy, beautiful home that clients can enjoy for years to come. We want to educate home buyers about the product they’re buying and how to look for a quality builder. #secondtononehtx #eastendbuilder #houstonbuilder #2ndwardhouston #eastendhouston #eadohouston #eadohomes #eastendhomes taken in Austin, Texas by @los_dos_design_build
