The chronicles of a healing mumma ✨

It’s been 7 years of trying to find myself again. 7 years of learning to readjust to a reality I never wanted. So many of those years, I never thought I’d get close to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, let alone find my way out of the darkness.

I often get asked how I’ve dealt with the loss of my baby. The truth is, every year has looked different. However, this year, God really did his big one with the people he’s brought into my life. When things like that happen, you HAVE to believe that God has the greatest plan for you, otherwise, you’ll drive yourself insane trying to make sense of it all.

The year isn’t even over, and it’s already been nothing short of a blessing. This year, I’ve been able to experience happiness again, to live freely, and to enjoy life without worrying about the price I might have to pay for it.

And now, I’m preparing to walk through another door God has opened for me, stepping into a new chapter with a heart full of gratitude and a faith stronger than ever. Life has given me so much to be thankful for, and I’ve been blessed with people who have shown up for me in ways I’ll never forget. So now, I want to be great, not just for myself, but for everyone who has been great to me. To make the people who have poured into me proud, to give back the love I’ve been given, and to make the most of every blessing God places in my path.

After 7 years of grieving, growing, and trying to find my way back to myself, I’m finally starting to understand that healing doesn’t mean forgetting what you’ve lost. It means learning that there is still so much life left to live, so much love left to give, and so much of yourself left to discover.

I see my strength. I see my heart. I see my smile. I see me. FINALLY.
