We had another successful @whatnot Commissions for a Cause fundraiser on Saturday! We raised funds for @sid_foundation to help lung transplant patients pay medical bills. 🫁

A BIG thank you to our Whatnot community for coming through and supporting us. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Check out this reel of some of our commissions.

Pollinator Palooza was a great time! 🦋Thank you @smithgilbertga for hosting us.

We got to teach painting 3-D printed flower pots with exclusive @liquitexofficial acrylic paint markers from @bindersart .

The Gardens provided free native milkweed seedlings 🌱 for our customers to go with the pots. 🪴

The kids got creative and had a blast painting with us! 🎨

I sat down with @VoyageATL to talk about the journey of building @Prime_Vice and how I landed here in Kennesaw.

People usually see the “Professor” or the “Studio Owner,” but they don’t always see the “not-so-smooth road” it took to get here.

I ‘ve been bringing comics & creativity to everyone on campus from kids, students & beyond.

This week, at the Geer College of the Arts Research Committee I presented my work on how visual storytelling is an underutilized powerhouse for education.

I shared work that shows how to close gaps in STEAM, give additional tools to non-art majors; level up so-called low literacy students, mae grading smoother for faculty & supporting SoTL research.

I showed how sequential art is essentially a multidisciplinary, multipurpose tool for serious learning.

Felt incredibly grateful to share this space with my peers for my first departmental colloquium.

S/o & 📸to, @ananyavahal; @shedabeda for collaboration & @ksuschoolofartanddesign & @ksucollegeofthearts for the opportunity & platform

The Black History Month event at the Ben Robertson Community Center was a great experience!

We met so many talented local artists and other members of our community and built new relationships with them.

The art of our very own Carlos “Loso” Pérez @loscomic featuring the Hip Hop Pioneers series was displayed in the art gallery along with other artists.

This event was a collaboration between The Sid Foundation @sid_foundation and Prime Vice Studios @prime_vice We hope to continue fostering relationships within our community and continue to plant seeds together.
