Blackhawks Win!

I have had a great year… in sports. Every game I have gone to, my home team has won! Cubs-Dodgers, Bears-Eagles, Northwestern-PennState, and Blackhawks-Blues, their first win of the 2026–27 NHL season. Maybe my friends are right and I am good luck at games, lol! Thanks, Tony! 😜🍀

One of the most beautiful things I have witnessed since being a full time caregiver helping mom with my dad has been watching his love for my mom. It’s simply unconditional. He often doesn’t know who she is, but he always knows he loves her and he’s supposed to be with her. They are inseparable.

When someone, even when memory has faded, instinctively and effortlessly chooses their partner - that is something truly powerful and profound.

I have learned so much from watching my parents these past six years:

• Life doesn’t have to be so complicated.
• Don’t take anything or anyone for granted
• Even though you will make mistakes, don’t be afraid to love with all you have. Trying is far greater than holding back.
• Change is the only constant, so learn to grow with it rather than fight it.

Thanks, mom and dad, for being so amazing. I am so lucky and I truly love you both more and more each day.
