This time of year we are harvesting lemongrass and lemon verbena to add bright citrus notes to our botanical gin. The hawthorn trees are full of berries ready to be picked and dried for their subtle apple character.

Bartender in focus: Meet Josh, a Burqueño who loves crafts, wrenching on bicycles, and playing the french horn. His latest cocktail for Bar Campo, "On the Horn," is loud with flavors of summer and is built around his love for the cilantro and mint combination and our house white rum blend (Clairin Communal/Worthy Park/Hamilton). Additions of tequila, lime, grapefruit and lovage make for a highly refreshing, food friendly sour that has also been a hit at brunch. Get your friends on the horn (or at least text them) to let them know what they're missing!
