Film Series: Fotos y Recuerdos Benefit Show at Casa Cafe, 7/15/2026

A few months ago, my dudes @fdj.mx and @varfilmz reached out asking if I had photos to submit to get my work installed at the legendary @casacafeshows and the answer was essentially "where do I sign?!" 📝🎞 To help support and fund the installation of my and so many others' work around the venue, Joel organized his 1st show to raise money for an eventual gallery opening 🖼🙌 The bands playing the benefit included:

@griefeaterisaband who Joel seemed most excited for the whole night. They were dreamy and full and sometimes very loud and a really cool act I was glad I made it out early to see! 🥀🍽

@vin.riffs.mn came down from Minnesota to play and were really dope 🍷👍 I was super into this performance: it was mathy, choppy, big, and well-performed. I've been listening to the studio stuff since this show and it's just as good! Worth your time to check out fr, consider me a Vin fan made👨‍🔬🎶

@losskinchi played their first show in a minute (and the first set I'd seen since they played the Bottle 11/11/24) which was awesome to be in attendance for 🙂🏟 A little bit of a different look and heavier than I recall (has never once been a bad thing idt 😈), but the music is really fun and the crowd really got into this set on weekday night 👯‍♂️🕺 @rippancho shreds btw if you didn't know 🔥🎸

@rotundos_ I've gotten to see a few times over the last couple years and they put on a great show, this show being no different!! 😄 Thanks for once again gracing us with your smooth tunes, gentlemen! 🔴🎧

If you see Joel or Carlos on the street, crumple up all the cash you've got and throw it at them so we can expedite the opening!! ⚾️💸 They're working hard for it and all of us picture peeps can't wait to see our friends' work on the walls ⏳️👫📸
