The music video is up on YouTube for “Apollo”. Written by @ryantaylorrasmussen and myself. I wrote this song before any of the others on the EP that’s coming out, as a procrastination activity to avoid packing for a friend’s celebration of life in Chicago. After writing For a Minute, I knew we had to do this one too. Ryan helped seamlessly transition the two (like pls listen to the transition from the two on Spotify he rly did tht) to execute the feeling I wanted to convey; which is the emotional roller coaster of grief. At the end of the song, there is a subtle feeling of acceptance... but, the thing about grief is that it comes and goes and shows up when you don’t think it will. There is no linear healing/accepting process when it comes to grief, or anything, for that matter. Thank you to my friends who helped (and still are helping me) through one of the hardest points of my life. Thank you to @ryantaylorrasmussen for helping me say and process my feelings. And thank you to the music :) this video was shot by @coleman.ex and I in Malibu over the course of 1 afternoon, trying to catch the sunset at Point Dune and stopping to take in some views along the drive. Been sitting on a record since 2023. Damn this life of ours sure does move fast. Thankful for handwritten notes to remind me of what actually matters.
The 5 song track list I’m about to put out into this wild, wild world will not be something that shakes this earth; but it’s something, that shakes me.
Hell, that’s why I haven’t put it out, ha. There was always a “better time”
‘n a “ something better comin’” to hold off on this la-dee-dah.
But the reality is;there is never a right time for absolutely anything.
Time: it just, plain, is.

Yall ever heard “friend of the devil” by the Grateful Dead? Well that’s great if you have. This isn’t a cover or anything like that. It’s actually more nine inch nails than anything. Ya this is @lost.angelace , imma give it a jam band hash tag though— because, well— I think it’s hilarious. If you get it, you get it. Real ones will. Lol. “For A Minute” music video is out now :) Angelace is more than just making music, to me. I challenged myself to do all the visual and creative direction and it has allowed me to listen to, and create, music in a whole new different, beautiful, and interactive way. I shot this, sometimes by myself, with a wobbly tripod, and a $20 camcorder from 2000 I purchased on eBay a year ago — and sometimes with the help of my friends who not only have been so helpful in pushing me to finish all this, but who are also incredible & inspiring artists, themselves. This was the first song @ryantaylorrasmussen & I made, during our first write ever set up by @ryandcarey . I’m so grateful we got in the same room together, because we ended up making a whole dang record (more to come soon). Thanks to @amuse.io for the seamless distribution.
