The air of these mountains carries the hard work of our ancestors, the rivers flow with our culture, and the soil of our villages holds our roots.
Today, Gen Z must do more than just raise voices on social media. We must step forward for the future of the mountains.
From stopping migration to improving education, employment, healthcare, roads, and protecting the environment — the solutions to the problems of the hills lie in the unity and vision of the younger generation.
If we fail to protect our language, folk traditions, culture, and nature, the coming generations will only know the mountains through stories.
This is the time for young people to reconnect with their roots, proudly represent pahadi culture to the world, and become the voice of the mountains.
Because Uttarakhand is not just our home…
