We have now completed all our live shows to support our 2023 release ‘Dimensional Rift’. We will now return to our home world to begin preparations for a new album. This will be a new chapter for the band and we are very excited to share our progress with you. 👽

Lastly we would like to thank all the support we have received from fans, fellow bands, promoters, festivals and friends. It has been very humbling and inspires us to keep pushing ourselves. Keep an eye out for the backlog of vlogs, which will be released gradually. We shall return to earth soon!

Review by @distortedsound from @dead_of_winter_fest, photo by @duncanmccallphoto. Lost Brethren live @ Dead of Winter Festival: The Trilogy
Something different for this lineup is LOST BRETHREN, a technical death metal unit from Peterborough. They’ve been around since 2011 and have four albums to their name, so why are they so unknown? Their inspired extreme metal shares DNA with SPAWN OF POSSESSION, but it’s not quite as fast. Tasty sweep-picking, sinister spaced-out soundscapes and intricate but bellicose drums are all on the menu. The sound isn’t crystal clear, but it does improve as the show marches on. The trio flies through selections from their last album, The Abduction, and most recent EP, Dimensional Rift. There’s so much variety that the alien-focused music never stagnates or grows repetitive and always sounds inspired. When the song Dimensional Rift wraps up their set, this reviewer can only ponder again: why are these techies so unknown?

Here's my 2nd solo from "The Abduction" - @lostbrethren

It's always difficult to video and record a death metal gig, so I decided not to video anything last weekend in Glasgow, and had a relaxing one. I'll just show you what I did from home instead!

Also, the new set up is very nearly complete. I just need to get my constellations of foam attached to the walls and sort out the lighting. What do you think of the green curtain?!

Wait for the ending of this one... Very surprising!

Happy New Year everyone! To be honest, I'm glad to see the back of this one. A lot of progress was made, but it was tough.

Thanks Ant for the fantastic camera work!
