I want to thank everyone for coming to the record release show. We are very proud of the Cursed LP, we worked really hard on it.
Thanks to @lordofthebrass for all of the help. He sang on the record, put the record release show together, helped get the artwork together, got posters made, and so much more. I can’t thank him enough - a true brother.
I’d also like to thank @blackfreighter for using most of his personal time and effort to work on this record as a gift to the old school - I truly appreciate it.
Then @brass305 for bailing me out after my other artist screwed me.
Then, of course, thanks to @drhoof, @cutnhdz and @seanaregal - the most monstrous lineup you could ask for on a record. All their hardwork and talent on this record - I am truly humbled to play with these guys.
And thanks to @mickeyblurr for all his work on helping promote the record, setting up a YouTube channel, bandcamp, helping set up merch, and all his work on instagram - and as the newest member of Lost Gen, he will help us go forward.

Cheetah Chrome at my backyard Memorial Day weekend 1991. I knew Cheetah for many years. We always had a good relationship. I often drove him to his mother’s house in Clinton, CT after he took the train up from NYC to my house with my wife. We went to see the Naked Lunch movie together, and even spent a Christmas together. He was really intelligent and used to just sit and read books at my house. We played many gigs together and he recorded songs with the Lost Generation Midnight Meat Train lineup under the name Dead City. I will cherish those songs for the rest of my life, they are amazing, emotional songs. We were scheduled to play with Dead Boys this January and I was really looking forward to seeing my brother Cheetah. He will be sorely missed. I still can’t believe it.
Goodbye, dear friend. RIP. by @lostgeneration.ct

Alright, GBH, funny story. We were playing Pogo’s - we weren’t playing with them, but they showed up and they were wonderful. So the funny thing is, they had their stage clothes on hangers, bringing them in to change into.
We did play with them at Streets in New Rochelle. We were down in the dressing room and Hambone always had a small speaker on his belt. At the time, Agnostic Front’s ‘Cause for Alarm’ record came out, so Hambone was playing licks from ‘Eliminator’. The guys from GBH came running into the room to listen to Hambone and get guitar lessons on how to chug, it was so funny. So when they put out their next album, ‘From Here to Reality’, they thanked us, which I thought was really nice of them. taken in New Rochelle, New York by @lostgeneration.ct

The first time we played with S.T. was at the Anthrax, 1985. Anyone who’s been to the original Anthax knows what I’m about to say: it was a firetrap. A staircase down to the basement, 7 foot ceiling, no windows. If there was ever a fire, you’re dead. So when we played in the basement, it was intense and hot. ST had gotten Rocky George in the band but still didn’t have a new album because the original kept selling more every year, so there was no need for new one til the original stopped selling. It was a great show.
We played with them again at Streets in New Rochelle NY when Join the Army came out and people went insane. They always were cool guys, but Rocky is the best. I’ve always loved their stuff, the early hardcore or the later metal stuff, it’s all good. by @lostgeneration.ct

“Before Lost Generation, there was No Music.
It’s well known to punk rock enthusiasts that by 1979, tempos were accelerating and turning more frenetic, chords were growing more discordant, and attitudes were becoming more negative as the kids who came up on punk’s first wave were now starting their own groups.
In the ghettos of Bridgeport, a group of scrappy young guys on the brink of 21 years of age started a project which would serve as the vanguard of the burgeoning first wave of hardcore for the Nutmeg State.
No Music existed for a very short burst - only about a year - recording, but never releasing, a two-song single (“City to City” and “Same Old Shit”, later released on a few compilations) before dissolving. And yet despite this brevity, like the best hardcore punk songs, their significance can not be negotiated - it is arguable that this is, indeed, Connecticut’s first hardcore band. Some may push back on the precision of the term’s application, or at least admit that it’s debatable (Joe Dias himself isn’t certain). However, a case can be made when we contextualize No Music alongside their west coast contemporaries: Black Flag’s “Nervous Breakdown” EP, the Middle Class’s “Out of Vogue”, or the Germs’ seminal “GI” record.
Regardless as to where one sits on the matter, it hardly takes much thinking to recognize the significance of the group which certainly helped to lay early groundwork for the DIY underground movement in the land of steady habits, paving the way for those to follow.”

Lost Generation is an American hardcore band formed in Bridgeport, CT in 1981. The initial lineup comprised of Joe Dias on vocals, Badbob Thierren on guitar, Sach on bass, and Lost Gen Glenn on drums.
During their prime, Lost Generation established themselves as a premiere hardcore punk band in the Connecticut scene, performing on bills with such acts as Black Flag, Bad Brains, the Dead Kennedys, the Damned, the Ramones and many more.
Despite never reaching the acclaim of the aforementioned acts - as is the case with much of the Connecticut scene - they have cemented a reputation as a cult classic for their debut 7”, ‘Never Work’ (1982) and inspired later hardcore acts like Youth of Today and 100 Demons.
Here, the original lineup is seen performing the song “Shiek OPEC” off of their first LP, Return From Incas, which has recently been cited as a top 4 hardcore album by Pete Morcey on the @hardlorepod
In September 2026, Lost Generation will release their first album since 1989.
