animal well? I sure hope it is!
Hey all. I wanted to check in with you guys with what I’ve been up to lately. Even though I haven’t been on instagram much, I have still been doing a lot of gaming.
My favorite game I have played lately is Animal Well! You play as a little blob exploring a metroidvania style map. Unlike most metroidvanias, this one has no combat! Instead you platform and solve puzzles to progress. And the well has a LOT of secrets to explore!
Big recommend! 💙 by @lostnmygames

Today the servers shut down for Wii U & 3DS games. The summer Splatoon 1 released, nearly 9 years ago, I spent so much time playing it (probably too much). Splatoon 1 was the first video game I went online and connected with a game community. I got to meet so many nice people. This game means so much to me.

Yesterday was the 2 year anniversary of Tunic! This is one of my all-time favorite games. I highly highly recommend it. It’s a very unique game and is absolutely beautiful. It’s one of those games where playing through it for the first time is something special bc once you beat it you can’t play through it the same way again bc your knowledge of the game drastically changes the way you play it.

Here are my 10 favorite games that I rolled the credits on this year! I finished 29 games this year and most of them I enjoyed a lot, but here are my 10 favorite!
(A couple of the physical games I show are sealed because I own the game digitally and want to keep the physical copy sealed.)

I recently reorganized some of my gaming shelves because I wanted to display my collection of physical indie games and especially my outer wilds vinyl!

Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion!
Like you could probably guess from the title this is a silly little game. It’s pretty short too - only about 2-3 hours. I played it back when it was on game pass and had fun playing it!

Majora’s Mask is one of those popular games that doesn’t click for me. I know a lot of people love it and it’s even a number of people’s favorite game of all time, but I just can’t get into it 😅 maybe I’ll give it another go one day!

I think this may be my favorite CE I’ve bought. I really enjoyed playing through Night In The Woods when I played it a few years ago. Opening this CE is making me want to replay it. I think it’s the perfect game to play during October too. It’s not super spooky or anything, but it fits the October vibe.

Lil Gator Game is so cute! 💚
The game captures childhood wonder and imagination in such a sweet, heart-warming way.
You play as a gator that joins up with his friends to create a little world in the park inspired by the games he’s played like Zelda.

Ok, I’m going to give this post another try. I initially posted this a few days ago but instagram decided to share it with LITERALLY zero people. I’m hoping it was just a one-time glitch.

But anyways, my physical copy of OneShot arrived a while ago and I’m so happy to have a copy of it to put on my shelf. I love this game so much (as you may be able to tell by my pfp). Although if you do play OneShot, I highly recommend playing it on pc if you can. It’s not for performance reasons or anything, but just trust me :)

[Swipe for 2 more photos!]
I haven’t shared photos of my game room for a bit. Since then I moved out the Xbox One & the PS4 and then put out the PS5 & Wii U. And I also got a new keyboard a couple of months ago that I love so much! 💜
I hope everyone has a great day!
