We welcome @dmn8_gym to @lostxfoundpickup
Thank you!
They join @barrys @equinox @soulcycle in our small, grassroots social enterprise.

Just a reminder on what we do:
We are a team of volunteers.
We collect lost & found items from LA gyms.
We take the stuff home to sort & clean.
We drop it off to @safeplaceforyouth
The items get a second life as they go to the unhoused community.
Simple right? Good stuff. ❤️

You want to volunteer or get your gym on board?

We are a group of local LA folks who work full time but wanted to volunteer in a way that works best for our work and life schedules while being solidly committed to a cause.

We each collect from LA gyms on our own schedules and drop off to @safeplaceforyouth once we take items home to sort and clean.
So far we have a bunch of Equinox, Barry’s, and Soul Cycle gym locations on board.

Below are our current team of volunteers.
If you would like to add your gym, school, or business or you just want to join us please DM any of us for more info.

We love the idea of repurposing left behind goods to those in need while also avoiding adding to a landfill.

It may not look like a lot but this is over 50 water bottles collected at one @equinox gym from one month of lost and found collections. They have been disinfected and thoroughly washed and are given a second life by members in need @safeplaceforyouth
