Remember it’s only a game… 🎪🎩

I see why this series is so popular. It’s an easy read, and a mysterious one. For me the story of Scarlet and Tella was a tad too YA for me.

And though my appel isn’t as white and shiny as Jacks’.. 😂
My heart beats for him.

On to the Magnificent North ✨🦊🍏.

Sunday Shelfie! ✨

I mean, my shelf is ready… now I just have to read the books instead of buying more. 🤭🙈

ᴾʳᵃᵍᵘᵉ is Fairydale if you ask me.
The book just as gothic as the city.

The story follows Darcy, a girl who is called to Fairydale after her biological father passes away and leaves her a large inheritance. But there’s one condition: she must stay at Fairydale for two months. And while she’s there, strange things start to happen.

This book was quite a ride. It’s a thick one, but if you ask me, it has just the right pacing. The way the story slowly twists and turns had me hooked. Don’t expect a slow burn though, because she falls stupidly fast.

And although I read the trigger warnings, I still think making love less than an hour after losing your daughter.. is crazy. Personally, I think the smut was too much.
Therefore 4 stars!

xoxo

Chapter 30! 💝
I thought I’d treat myself to a birthday present.
These are the most expensive books I’ve ever bought 😩
But they’re totally worth it.
My @litjoycrate collection of the Grisha Verse is now complete 😍.

This series by Carissa Broadbent is so underhyped.

The story follows Tisaanah, an orphan girl who is enslaved. After breaking free from her master, she finds herself excluded and unwanted everywhere… Until Max. I think he’s one of my favorite book boyfriends 🥹🫶🏻

The tulip fields remind me of the garden at Maxantarius’s cottage. Full of flowers, where he works to forget his trauma of the past wars. 🌷

Book one of the series was one of the few 5-star reads I’ve had. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

At some point, the books become dual POV, and later on even multiple POV.

Blind Book Date! ♥️
I went to a cozy little bookstore in the heart of the Netherlands this weekend and thought; I’d buy myself a little present!
I considered peeking inside all the way home.
But kept it close to unpack it with you guys.
Soooo happy with this one ✨🤩

This book 💔
I must confess... I disliked this book at first. I started it during the dark months of 2025 and put it away because it was too depressing and confusing. Only at the beginning of part 2 did I start liking it. I reread part 1 after finishing part 2, and I recommend everyone do the same.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
2/5 🌶️

The book follows Helena Marino, a healer in a time of war. She is forced into a relationship as a captive with Kaine Ferron, a necromancer and a murderer. As the war rages on, Helena must find her way as a healer and try to end the war with her brilliant mind.

Read the trigger warnings before you start this one.

Me and my own –not so- Greyling approved ✨

This book is such a quick, easy, and fun read.
A perfect standalone without too much complexity, but with enough character and world-building.
And for once, a 35 year old woman instead of 16🤭
I absolutely adored this story. Maybe a little predictable, which is why I rated it 4.25 stars! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
