It’s crazy because I never realized how close we were until these videos. Since way back when. Early days.. you and @flashnbs pretty much signed me to the @nthebs and I was just 19-21 years old.

I remember days at your old crib in the Ville. I would come over and write rhymes for hours we would just vibe out and you gave me a place to grow, learn, and completely be myself: I never had to hide who I was around you, and you did the same.

I genuinely felt the care and appreciation you showed me throughout the years. I met your mother. You met mine. I met your son. You met mine. I was apart of your world, and you were in mine.

Whether it was simple rides to the crib and back, or long drives to NY - same energy.

I always looked up to you. You let me come up short many times and still made sure I could be okay out here in the streets. You were truly a family member to me, and I can’t thank you enough for allowing me to experience your presence.

I’m gonna take the time to grieve properly now so I will be off for a while but I just want to send a friendly message: don’t wait until people you love are gone to strengthen the bond you guys may have had/have. Get that shit right - NOW.

Separation between me and you has caused me more pain than anybody could imagine. I’m still learning to take my wins where I can so here it is..

I’m so proud to call you, my daughter and I’m very proud to be your father. Even though your birthday is tomorrow and I won’t be able to see you, I’m completely filled with happiness that I was able to spend time with you today. Even if it was only for a little while, the memory will stay with me forever..

I love you so much, Kaylee. I hate having to leave you, but I hope you have a great birthday tomorrow. Daddy loves you always.. and I know you didn’t think that I could put on your nails while we were eating, but I definitely did that lol I’ll get better I promise!
