The fear of blood tends to create fear for the flesh.

Old drawing from an old album that once belonged to a small Praguer family of four.

Among photographs of the married parents, a young girl playing the violin, a smiling worn-out young adult, fabric samples, more drawings, and photographs; this piece, along with three others, seemed relegated to the back, buried beneath everything else.

It appears to be inspired by a room that, upon exploring further into the album, later turned to be empty. Perhaps it was something that brought them fear, a recurring dream or a pet, as the same figure appears again in the other three.

Whoever made this possessed quite a lot of creativity. There is also a short writing in German and a smudge that, I assume, was a name, though it is nearly illegible now.

Could it have been the author's signature?

Buckethead. That's Buckethead right there.

Spin-off post. xD

This post is a bit different from my usual stuff, because today is Buckethead's birthday!!!!!!!!! He's one of my favorite artists I wanted to share this fan art I made some time ago but never posted. Today was just the day for it, basically.

For the colors and the concept, I take inspiration from albums like Colma, Slunk Scene, Racks, Pike 65 (my favorite!), and Enter the Chicken, and I also had to mention the legendary “Bucketheadland” that appears so often in his work. :P
Buckethead is such a great artist, for some reason it always makes me sentimental to listen a lot of his music, it really conveys so much!!!

Our Chatelaine, Sovereign goddess of the Hollow Light of our Oath.

The universe lies to itself through our truth.
It knows both, but understands neither.

How many memories must you inhabit before you begin to be replaced?

How many of those must be yours?

Pain is a place we inhabit with noise.
And when memory ends,
oblivion becomes one more way to keep on living.

From the muscle the tyrant rules, and by the muscle he shall be crushed.
From the flesh the vulture feeds, and for the flesh he shall hunger.
From the bone the god is born, and within the bone he shall endure.
From the dust the soul comes, and in dust it shall be forsaken.

Because from solitude comes the lie.
And to solitude, becoming one leads.
Our footprint is the blasphemy that the grave rejects.

The cosmos’s last phrase will be a lie:
Death will believe us alive.
Life will believe us dead.
Absence will deny our non-existence.
And existence will ask twice if we exist.
We shall do the same and, once certain, we shall ask again.

Vacuous is the light of an oath unsure of its own sanctity.
Vacuous.

The penultimate post regarding Chatelaine art! @ucalegon first single!!! 🙏🏻👼🏻

There is something curious about this version of the cherubs. It is how they emerged so naturally compared to the previous ones. Those, I had to think through and conceptualize, but these emerged as if they had already been there, allowing me to see their past. They are not a forced expansion of something that wasn’t meant to be; they are the anesthesia that a facade uses to exist above the one who created it; the natural path of an unreflective interaction reflecting upon itself.

How much of me must I blind, in order to see myself completely?

What we feel, feels us back. Everything we create, recreates us. And everything we think of destroying has already destroyed us.

The sadist's regret will be the vanity of humility.
The indolent's indifference will be the mastery of serenity.
The persistent's greed will be the quality of perseverance.
Yesterday’s lie, proudly, will be tomorrow’s adornment.
And, soon, the real will become so distant that highlighting it will be the liar's task.

We are a mantra that deceit answers to our prayer. The parasite of what we desire. The disregard and denial our souls hold for us.

Everyone sees it. Everyone feels it. Everyone lies when saying it is so. That is the truth. But perhaps it is a lie too. That makes it real. That makes it. That makes us.

Children of Sin, Cherubs of Deceit

Love, sadness, anger, lies, and truth. Everything we can feel, we perceive as truth. We think, "it exists because I feel it, even if I cannot understand it beyond what I assume." But, could abstraction experience the same in its own condition? One in which they swim through a river referred to by your name and where they see your face; what we feel, feels us back.

Does the nothingness that exists with a name have a face? Could the lie of today be a reflection in tomorrow? Could what you feel while lying BE a reflection tomorrow?

When we separate what we control from who we are, we lose our certainty. These heads represent the essence of an action, the feeling of a lie: the face of what we do. They are the possible reactions of someone who has realized what they are doing; in this case, lying.

The one who disregards, will remain indifferent.
The one who keeps, will keep lying.
The one who regrets, will keep repenting.

But they will always live, as long as there is a river to flow through.

Watching the innocence we forgot. Devouring the kindness we ended. Longing for the peace we lost.

Is there any way to be happy like this?

How much of you is in a lie? How much of a lie are you if that’s all you do?

To me, a facade is formed from your skin and extends out in front of and above you.
It’s not just a mask you put on; it’s a part of yourself that you carry with you and move forward with. Strong because of its fragility; more than you, and yet, dependent on you

It doesn't move anywhere else, but only within you. It doesn't end anywhere—only with you. And yet, it would always hurt everyone else before it hurt you.

A factory of something, for someone.

With this clip, I say goodbye to all those of Palingenesis. I was hesitant to publish it because, among all sections, this is the "strangest." Yet, at the same time, it is the one that best encapsulates Palingenesis as a whole. The decision to explain so much here is to offer a bit of my perspective.

This section is titled: Dread is a long pathway of bliss, (I am).

If the previous clip spoke of the lie of reincarnation, in this one I feel the motive behind that lie. It is the fear of losing something you have so intensely that it remains even after you no longer have it.
If we die, does the fear of death remain?
If thanatophobia can guide an existence, what part of it have we truly breathed without suffocating?

In this segment, I used photographs I’ve taken from my childhood to the present—ranging from innocence and religious trauma to anxiety, helplessness, humility, sadness, fear, and more. All of them were taken without knowing that one day I would use them for a project born precisely from having experienced them. Life lies in the things we ignore in our assumptions.

We are the eye of what we observe, and when we finally find ourselves, understanding whether we are life or memory becomes one and the same.

What leaves remains to be taken.

The feeling of being a growing baby: 👶🏻👼🏻🐣

Another clip from Palingenesis; this part is titled: “Farewell to the Greeting” (It must be something that has already happened). :))

I still have one more clip left, but I'm not sure if you'd like me to upload it, since it's a bit more chaotic and weird. Here, the baby is growing inside the mummified head. I feel like this is what a stage of reincarnation would look like.

Something familiar that you fill with a sense of life and the desire to keep embracing it. Even if that means leaving behind what led you to do so. Did you love your life, did you love life itself, or did you love being alive? Because the answer behind each one says different things and perhaps, at the same time, reveals what you would do.

Perhaps reincarnation is a constant deception within death. A self-imposed delusion of the soul that embraces a new life, oblivious that these are merely memories of the one it once had. That which is born in death, is born dead.
