This has been 2 years in the planning phase for us, awful new build garden lawn that was full of leather jackets (crane fly larvae) we have exhausted ourselves laying new turf, trying treatments and re seeding for the last few years and nothing worked…….so out with the sparse lawn and hello gravel borders 🫶🏻🪴🌸

I have planted all my borders with pollinators in mind 🐝🦋 perennials for structure and of course budget friendly( come back every year) I have grown lots of biennials for spring and early summer colour and lots of annuals for instant blooms 🌸🌸🌸

We are in love with the transformation 💙💙hope you like it garden gram🙏🙏

Special thanks to Mr grows here for digging the lawn up 🫶🏻🫶🏻 🪏💪

Special credit to Nugget 😻 for showing him how the stepping stones work 🤣🤣🤣

Happy 1st of November 🍂🧡 Not sure how we got here already and neither is my garden 🤭

I have never experienced my garden so full of flowers and colour still in November, I would normally be getting it ready for winter and definitely mulching by now but I’m thrilled with how it’s still looking 🪴🌸🧡

No room to do anything so I will just enjoy it while I can along with the bees 🐝

Anyone else have full borders still? Where are the bulbs going, more importantly where are the seedlings I’ve grown going 🤦‍♀️🤣 GH is full 🌱🌱

Well I had to have a serious word with myself, I had lost my mojo recently and only I could get it back ☝️🪴

Full day of garden time, garden centre, swapping cuttings and using all my favourite tools.

It really felt amazing to get lots of jobs ticked off………note to self when you’re feeling a little down get out in the fresh air and do what makes you happy 🧡🧡

Have a wonderful weekend and hope you all get out in the garden and enjoy it 🌱🪴✨🍂🧡

Autumn guys 🫶🏻 already so tough 🥹 for me lots of busy work days …… dark nights, overwhelming feelings, battling extreme anxiety and ADHD 😟 trying my hardest to show up 💪

My love for growing from seed with never change 🌱🌱

Anyone else lost their garden mojo lately? I struggle I will admit that ☝️✨

What seeds are you growing? Help me grow more, little obsessed here 🤣🙌🏻🌱 by @lou.grows.here

As we head towards the darker nights it’s important to remember that self care and nurturing yourself is so important 🫶🏻🫶🏻

I’ve seen a lot of posts lately where people are already feeling a little low with the autumn weather, darker nights creeping in and silly insta algorithms that make you feel unseen - it can make you feel like you’re not enough 🥹

But YOU are enough 🩷 You are seen here and I adore all the lovely gardengram accounts I follow 🫶🏻

There is room for us all, let’s support, share and continue to enjoy our little gardening community ✨

October so far in my garden and it’s been pretty busy for me as usual.

I love the autumn months where we can move plants, divide them for free plants, re design borders and spaces ✨ and plan for our spring gardens.

Lots of autumn jobs ticked off my list the last few days✅ I’m not someone that rests very easily, always on the go, always planning 🌱🪴🌸

How is your October so far? Hope you’re also managing to get through the long list of garden jobs we always have? 🤭🫶🏻🫶🏻

Happy Monday and have a wonderful week xx

No gardening for 3 whole days but hey I’ve loved spending time on my second favourite hobby 🩷

Interior decor is obviously a personal taste, I love bold, quirky and slightly bonkers………just like me 🤣🩷

I always decorate on a budget and save money where I can, why replace if you can paint 🎨

Anyway I hope you enjoy, and I’m sure this will send my garden algorithm right out of sink but hey….always do what you love and share what you love 🩷🩷🩷🩷

Toilet seat to replace, ideas welcome…animal print, bright pink or black??? Help a girl out with some ideas 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

Hope you’ve had the BEST weekend 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻✨ by @lou.grows.here
