Per la prima volta live a Cagliari abbiamo il piacere di ospitare Lou Nime. L’artista manipola suoni concreti, campionamenti e registrazioni d’ambiente, supportandoli con la sintesi FM. L’essenzialità della sua ricerca sonora, dove “less is more”, si ispira alla scena elettronica sperimentale inglese con riferimenti a etichette come Hyperdub, Planet Mu e PAN.

Spinto da una forte attitudine live, Monday Slayer si concentra sull’uso di drum machine analogiche e sintetizzatori, affinando progressivamente la propria identità sonora. Esplorare territori techno e bass-driven con un approccio personale, radicato nella cultura underground e nella ricerca costante di nuovi paesaggi ritmici.
𝑨𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒓𝒐 𝑨𝒓𝒕𝒖𝒅𝒊
Nato a Cagliari, si dedica principalmente ai live set con l’utilizzo di Ableton, drum machine, groovebox e synth. Il suo sound è caratterizzato da sonorità techno, deep e ipnotiche, con contaminazioni organiche provenienti dalla natura.

Lou Nime is Lorenzo Meloni’s alter ego, the product of his immersion in the world of cables, samples, electric current and potentiometers. After an initial hybrid experimentation between electric guitar and analog synthesizers with a singer-songwriter vein mixed with dark ambient, the synthesis of the sound from the instrument is abandoned by manipulating concrete sounds, samples, ambient recordings supported by FM synthesis and moving to IDM sounds, electro and techno. This new path begins in 2019 and finds its live dimension with the use of machines and samplers. In Turin in recent years, he plays for Siah, Slow Coma, Stasis, Sinapsi, etc. In April 2023 his first EP was released for the Diffuse Reality Records label with experimental veins contaminated by footwork, juke and breakbeat. Recalling the concept of his latest album, he prepares a live performance using only two instruments: the Elektron Digitakt sampler for beats, voices and concrete sounds and the Elektron Digitone FM synthesizer for the melodic and harmonic aspect.
