Salamander got BETROTHED

This is my girl Sallie,
one of my newest best friends,
A gal who lights up every room she walks into and never lets anyone sit alone.
A crazy lady who chats with you till 1am and still knocks on your door at 5am to go cycle, doing it all with a huge smile - crediting Jesus for her rest (or lack there of) Amen amen.

Throwback to my first ski of 2022/2023 season!

In case you missed it; January 2022 I tore my ACL, PCL, Meniscus, and broke my tibial plateau while living and ski race coaching in Canada! In other words, I blew my knee into pieces and could not get surgery till late August of that year. I spent 6 weeks on crutches, relearned to walk, and ultimately had to say goodbye to the love of my life for 594 days. These photos show my first ski back in May post surgery, I got in 4 turns on my Bigfoot skis on a patch of slush. I’m thankful for Gods timing and allowing me back on skis with a full recovery, and thankful for those who slowed down at times with me along the way! taken in Flagstaff, Arizona by @loudasshannah

YO GIRL GOT BAPTIZED 🌈

I’ve wanted to get baptized now for a couple years, covid hit and put my plans on pause - I was hoping to get dunked after my quarter life crisis, but His plans are not our plans.
Fantastic friends brought me to surf church yesterday morning to ride a few waves and hear His word.. with no intention on getting baptized. So joyful to end my year of grand exploring with the greatest public announcement of my faith! I am blessed beyond measures!!!

I’ve talked back in the fall about how cool it would be to be thrown off the peer and baptized in the ocean. I didn’t know God had those ideas for me in mind later down the road. To be raised up in the ocean with a wave!
