When I turned 20 years old; I was homeless, living in my car. That Taco Bell parking spot in the 2nd pic was my home for a couple years. I had caught a felony, my mom got really sick and disabled, I had to drop out of college and I genuinely thought my life was cooked before it really got a chance to start.

I prayed all the time that I would be able to figure it out and get myself right by 30. Recently, I’ve had time to reflect on the decade of my 20’s and what I’ve accomplished. I felt anxiety, wondering if I had accomplished everything I wanted….

I did not!😂 And that’s ok. Nothing went as planned, everything went the way it was meant to. That realization brings me solace. There’s a lot of successes and failures in my 20s, but I will highlight:

-I overcame homelessness
-I became an advocate for other unhoused people in my community
-I made music that I loved
-I gained lifelong friends
-I became an activist and found a community to call my true home
-I got the best job ever, getting to mentor and support youth in my community
-Found a mighty love
-Became unc for more kids than I woulda ever expected lol
-I figured out and started to become the kind of adult that kid me would look up to.

Thank you to everyone who’s been with me on this journey through thick and thin. Shout out to my momma for 30 years of motherhood. I wouldn’t still be here without the people around me. Thank God for 30 rotations around the sun. taken in San Jose, California by @loudimes

Revolution is needed. Reform isn’t enough. Many fear revolutionary change, but we ain’t scared. Revolution means a rotation of the wheel, so those on the bottom can rise up.

Join Butch Ware as he welcomes ROGER WATERS, LAUREN JAUREGUI, SAMMY OBEID, ANGELICA ROSS, SHYLAH RAY, and FERNANDO DEVERAS, and others, for an afternoon of discussions, sets, and songs to fuel the uprising. Fascism cannot be reformed; it must be defeated. And all successful liberation movements are rooted in revolutionary resolve and love.

Help us rally the forces needed to bring a political revolution to California, America, and the world.

The event is held at the historic and beautiful BAL Theatre in San Leandro within easy reach from the wider San Francisco Bay Area.

The Trump admin has been bombing fishermen off the Venezuelan coast for 4 months and has been openly threatening Venezuela since January 2025. The US government has tried to stage a coup in Venezuela multiple times of the last 27 years.

The US has placed sanctions on Venezuela for decades, resulting in billions of dollars lost. $30 billion in lost oil revenue, major food/medicine shortages, hyperinflation and foreign divestment have made the Venezuelan economy scream in pain.

All of this being done by the US because Venezuela nationalized oil production, which put a cap on the profits Exxon and Chevron could make off of them. This is a continuation of the “Banana Wars”. If you don’t know what the Banana Wars are, the US military overthrew and invaded multiple South American countries for the Chiquita Banana fruit company. Yes, you read that correctly.

Nonetheless, some people who know nothing about whats happening are going to have some strong takes. They likely have read a couple headlines or 15 seconds of a 2 minute tiktok; and will tell you that everything happening is GREAT 👍🏿. Here are some simple rebuttals to those talking points.

2025 was a historic year and not for any good reason. The Trump admins blitzkrieg policy tactics made it so that every day there were a multitude of horrible stories that very few people could keep reasonably keep up with and make connections to.

Inflation, housing costs, high unemployment, mass layoffs, the shut down of the Dept of Education, the ending of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, 17 million losing healthcare, 3 million losing food stamps, 60 deadly commercial plane crashes, AI replaced 30% of entry-level job positions, 423 mass shootings, 2.5 million deportations, 40 migrants murdered in ICE detention, 5,000 “missing” migrants, 1,263 people killed by police, over 1,000 cases and 4 children died (most in 40 years) due to anti vaccine parenting. This is only scratching the surface of what happened stateside.

In the midst of this fascism induced pain and suffering stateside, out taxpayer dollars were used to: murder, displace and subjugate millions of people in over 9 different countries. At least 12,000 children worldwide were killed with bombs from the US in 2025.

So remember, while this year may have had its struggles, trials and tribulations. Most of us reading this hit the geopolitical jackpot by not being born in a country enduring reckless hatred at the hands of the US government (the most powerful military force in human history). If “will I get bombed today?” did not regularly cross your mind, you are extremely privileged.

Use your privilege to understand what your hard earned tax money went towards. 50% of our entire US budget went to the military. That money went to the bombing of:

Palestine, Syria, Somalia, Yemen, Venezuela, Colombia, El Salvador, Ecuador, Iran and Nigeria. We are not at war with any of these countries. None of these countries have attacked the US in any meaningful capacity. Many people don’t even know that we have killed people in these places.

If we do nothing else as a society in 2026, we must at least BEGIN to hold our government and ourselves accountable for the wanton murder and destruction we proliferate across the globe; with so little care that we respond “Damn, that’s crazy” when told of mass murder by @loudimes

Join us this Sunday November 9th on Google Meets, to discuss how our community can support those impacted by food insecurity. If everyone can do a little, no one has to do a lot.

42 million people nationwide, 5 million Californians, 650 thousand in the SF Bay Area and 132,000 people rely on SNAP benefits to supplement their grocery purchases. Those benefits have been held hostage by our government for over a month now. Trump also canceled 94 million pounds of food set to be delivered to food banks across the country. $500 million worth of food now sits rotting and wasted due to political posturing.

Food banks are now dealing with smaller amounts of food and lines that are 2-3 times larger than normal. Some are reporting their busiest days ever. There is something everyone can do to contribute. Come through Sunday to see exactly how you can.

This week marks 4 years since SJPD murdered Demetrius Stanley with impunity. 4 years that another gaggle of police officers still feels justified in the murder of innocent black and brown folks.

If you live outside Cincinatti, you can stand in solidarity with people there, but you MUST address the same problems in your own city. This is where you live, where you can vote, where you have power and where you have roots.
Protect your home, by protecting your neighbors.

Its never too late to stand up. Its never too late to find your voice. You have a duty and a privilege to support your fellow community members. We have to speak up, stand up and fight back for our people. The opposition will try to demonize victims and their supporters at every angle. It was almost impossible to find a pic of Rodney Hinton outside that courthouse video.

These murdered people are our martyrs. Honor their memory and vow to put an end to this cycle. They deserved better, you deserve better. Freedom aint free. taken in San Jose, California by @loudimes
