POSTS STORIES REELS
We’re writing with some very personal news from our Cleo&Hooman family. Last night, our beloved pup and namesake, Cleo, peacefully crossed the rainbow bridge. She was the reason this brand exists and the heart behind everything we do. As many of you know, our founder Louie has spent years searching for real solutions for dogs with skin issues and allergies—work that began with Cleo’s own struggles and grew into the products you know today. Cleo was more than our logo; she was our teacher, our muse, and the dog who showed us what it means to care deeply for pups like family. To honor her life and everything she inspired, we’re dedicating the rest of this year to giving back in her name. For the remainder of 2026, 100% of Cleo&Hooman sales will be donated to a group of dog shelters, rescue programs, and Frenchie-focused organizations doing meaningful work for pups like Cleo. We are so sorry to share this news, and incredibly grateful that you’ve been part of her story; whether you met her in person, followed her online, or discovered her through a bottle on your shelf. Thank you for loving her, supporting us, and helping turn her legacy into something that will continue to help other dogs and their humans. With love, Louie & the Cleo&Hooman family by @louie.marte
Lately… I’ve been wanting to put into words what life has actually looked like these past six months. I moved back to the East Coast before Cleo passed, because something in me knew I needed to be closer to family. At the time I didn’t fully understand why; I just felt this pull to come home, to be around people who knew me and loved Cleo as much as I did. Looking back now, I’m really grateful I listened to that feeling. In May, Cleo passed away, and it’s still one of the hardest things I’ve ever gone through. Grief has shown up in waves: in the quiet moments, in the routines that suddenly changed, in all the little spaces where she used to be. There’s a version of this story that ends there in the sadness, but that isn’t the whole truth of what’s been happening. In the middle of that heartbreak, there has also been so much movement and growth. I’ve been pouring myself into the next chapter of @cleoandhooman , trying to honor her by building something that reflects how special she was. We’ve been exploring better products, obsessing over quality and care, and slowly shaping what this brand looks like now while keeping the same heart it started with. There have been some surreal moments, too: being highlighted by Paris Hilton for her Pride collection, watching the brand grow, and receiving awards for both marketing and pet care. All of that still feels a little unreal, especially knowing it all began with one little dog who changed my life. So my “lately” is this mix of deep loss and deep gratitude. Moving home before I knew how much I’d need it. Saying goodbye to Cleo. Leaning on family. Rebuilding something new out of love for her. And quietly, behind the scenes, working on products and ideas I can’t wait to share. I’m really excited for what’s ahead—for the new chapter of Cleo&Hooman, for the things we’re building, and for all the ways I get to keep Cleo’s spirit alive through this work. If you’ve been here, checked in, ordered, sent a kind message, or just silently cheered from the sidelines, thank you. It means more than you know. Here’s to Cleo, to coming home, and to everything beautiful that’s still on its way. by @louie.marte

2025 was A LOT. Did the work. Felt the feelings. Learned the lesson. Closed the tab. Built the brand. Raised the bar. Didn’t abandon myself. Grateful for my family, friends, my therapist, and @chatgpt for the emotional 24/7 tech support 😮‍💨📞 by @louie.marte
