Well…it’s that time. This will be a long post, but I hope you read it.
This Olympics was my third and final attempt at the world stage. I wanted to go out there and show a run I’ve never landed before, and I did! I gave it my all. I have been doing professional contests for over 20 years. I have no regrets. And I’m going out my way.

Thank you. Thank you snowboarding. I never thought what started as something “just for fun” would take me around the world, introduce me to lifelong friends, bring me to the Olympics and become my career. I am truly blessed to have been competing for over 20 years and to end my competitive career at the Olympics, landing a run I have never landed before, at almost 38 years old. I am proud of my accomplishments in this sport, to have played a small part in the evolution and to have seen so many of the groms grow up to take snowboarding to the next level. 30+ podiums, 6x X-Games medals, 3 Olympics, first fs double 10 in competition, first to do 3 doubles in a row, first to do 4 doubles in a row and now the oldest halfpipe Olympian ever.
This long message is about to be longer, but I have a lot of people to thank. First, my parents for literally everything. Driving me all over the place, supporting me through it all and of course sending their 12 year old to Vermont to chase a dream. Second, my wife, @haileyostrom for supporting me and the sacrifices over the last 7 years. My sister for being my biggest cheerleader. Scott Palmer and SMS for giving me the opportunity and pushing me to be the best I could be. Tim Windell for being my summer Dad…keeping me in line on and off the mountain. Don Bostick for giving me my first shot in Xgames. @rickyjohnny and @ussnowboardteam. @jjthomas_ @boydy2669. @brettesser for the last 6 years, believing in me and putting so much time into me. @filippo__k for all the extra work you did and @italiateam . John Schaeffer & @apoloohno for getting me in the best shape of my life and changing everything about my lifestyle off the hill. @therealbobbyhard for all the years repping me and helping me manage all my deals. All my past sponsors and current sponsors. (Continued last slide) taken in Livigno by @louievito

It’s official. I am so stoked to announce I have qualified for another OLYMPIC GAMES. There has been a lot of highs and lows from Vancouver 2010 to Milano 2026 but here we are. At almost 38 years old, I will be the OLDEST halfpipe Olympian. And I am proud to have that title. #Olympics #olympian #milanocortina2026 taken in Livigno by @louievito

I am extremely honored to receive the key to the city of Bellefontaine. I am so thankful for the people of this community. Honestly, this is surreal. Thank you to my parents, my wife, my family and friends and the city of Bellefontaine! taken in Bellefontaine, Ohio by @louievito

You don’t need the best snow or the biggest mountain to have some of the best days. This day was one of my favorites recently. @azsnowbowl with friends riding the bunny slope.
