If you've followed me you'll know mine - an awful thing happened in my life a few years ago. If you don't know, I'll just say it was as traumatic & life changing as you can imagine intimate partner violence to be. Over time I grow despite what happened and, every so often, I share thoughts in a post. Sharing so others trying to grow too, feel less alone.Lately I've been so busy, go go go, I haven't really shared my thoughts - well, not like before with the long winded posts I used to do!Today sitting on a plane headed to Sunshine State, I was reminded of the sweetness of sharing.As I settled in my window seat I reached into my bag for my water bottle, only to discover a little pouch of sweets!! Yep. My sneaky Mumma/Taxi had tucked it there.Now, I haven't eaten a lolly in sooooo long. Such a treat!! This rekindling my love of a good old chewy j'baby metophorically became important to healing. I don't ever want to forget or lose my sweetness to bitter things in life. Do you?All the sugar (oh gosh such a rush lol) got me thinking maybe someone out there might relate if I shared the following:Stay sweet. Be true to yourself & embrace challenges with graceYes. Be brave, navigate the ups & downs. But hold on to your inner light. Let it guide you. Find balance between holding on & surrendering, and trust true "sweetness" will always shine throughHealing is a lifelong journey. A long game state of being. Reconnecting you with your body, yourself & your spirit. But most importantly, it brings us closer to each otherThis is the part of my post where you go find your own lolly. Go on!! How my little list is going. How's yours - ticking things off? What's at top do you think?Hey Louise Lovers,As you get older you see the life ahead & look for fulfilment. Today in Louise Land I thought I would share with you "The List". Well, as it is for now anyways ...it's ever changing, inspired by others who write them too. Consequently, I actually now have "a few" lists! ✨️💃😏Lists are meant to help me to grow (enough to "unbecome & then become" whoever I am truly meant to be) and, to hopefully help others to do the same.How though?For growth we must learn, mostly by doing.I want to encourage others to develop their own list(s). Think of things you need in this life as you see it. Then go out in this world, immerse in beautiful people, interesting places, treasure things for different reasons.Not just to suit yourself (Life is too short for apathy). Do things that inspire more care, intrigue, curiousity. Find it in you & others.As I tick off my list one by one I should clarify here, I wasn't born into any of this. I earned my place, and hopefully so can you. As actors we are told to focus & train, " it's so important not to get distracted". Well, ... this is soul training!Not to sound hippy dippy, but part of becoming who I am is choosing soul energy carefully. Being intentional about abundance & joy = my two guiding pillars this year.Ticking off my list, I am developing a love affair with creative arts, oceans, coastal areas, ... and finding a love of just pure #love By " Pure Love" I mean, enjoying just simply giving it back. Its not a complicated thing. Just simply leading with Love first, without expecting returns (not so easy). One day I will have a family & want to be able to pass down Love as my legacy. To know Love like that is surely Freedom > ChaosAll of us at the end, when we look back on our lives, won't we say all we needed is Love? Love is the greatest most healing gift of all.So ... Be You.
