Aunt Betty turned 94 this month, we didn’t celebrate since I was sick with shingles, so now that I’m feeling better, this morning she brought out an envelope of photos, I absolutely love hearing her stories.
This was after high school (#BarringtonIllinois) , she and a friend took a trip to #Florida to where she grew up until age 15. I’m so blessed to have her… and yes she gave me permission to post. ❤️ taken in Wabasso, Florida by @loupdedrew

Our Savior is the first of the First Fruits!
1 Corinthians 15:20-23 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the #firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. For since death came through a man, the resurrection of the dead comes also through a man. #wavesheafoffering🌾 by @loupdedrew

John 16:31 It was the day of preparation, and the Jewish leaders didn’t want the bodies hanging there the next day, which was the Sabbath (and a very *special Sabbath, because it was Passover week). So they asked Pilate to hasten their deaths by ordering that their legs be broken. Then their bodies could be taken down.
*The special Sabbath was the first day of the Passover/Feast of Unleavened Bread. by @loupdedrew

Have you ever wondered what happens to those who never had the opportunity to hear the Gospel? Our mighty and faithful Father has a plan. Type The Last Great Day in your 🔎 search tab below. It has a nice short explanation of what this final Holy Day of The Lord represents.
Revelations 20:5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is their first resurrection.
(We’ll have a lot of work to do!!!)
