99/100 takes are bloops TBH. Especially when attempting #tonyrice solos. #bluegrass #guitar #flatpicking #blooper by @loupine4u

Do I have a class A CDL? Nope. Do I own a trucker hat and love songs about Truckin’ and Texas? YER DARN TOOTIN I DO! I finally finished writing this song called “Born To Roll Alone” after starting it a couple years ago. Two questions: 1) Should I record it? and 2) Did you catch the Hank Williams Sr references? #countrymusic #trucking #texas #guitar #hankwilliams by @loupine4u

Honestly, I think she nailed it. This song is called “Del Yeah” and was inspired by @delfest ‘26. #bluegrass #guitar #flatpicking by @loupine4u

Madone. 😮‍💨🤌 by @loupine4u

So, @britty_ray and I moved our family to Tennessee last November and went to our first ever @delfest in May where we got to see tons of our favorite musicians and bands perform in the Allegheny Mountains near the Potomac River in Cumberland, MD. I was so inspired by the whole experience that I wrote this song “Del Yeah!” as soon as I got home.

Well, fast forward a few months, and I got to perform it in front of none other than @ronniemccoury himself with our kids Lenny and Lucky singing background 😭 at the @historicrockcastle Bluegrass Jam in our new home town of Hendersonville, TN. Not surprisingly, he was so cool and gracious to take the time to listen.

I literally dreamed about this moment when I wrote this song, so to actually live it was completely surreal. I’m so grateful and honored to have had the chance to meet Ronnie and perform this humble ode to the incredible McCoury family, their beautiful music festival, and the larger bluegrass music community which we love so much.

Special shoutout to the following artists which I mention in the second verse:

@delmccouryband
@ronniemccoury
@peterrowanmusic
@martystuart
@alisonkrauss
@jerrydouglas
@sierraelizabethferrell
@sierradawnhull
@watertowerband

See you next year @delfest

DEL YEAH!!!
