Not everyone is meant to be a coach. Period.
.
.
Bodybuilding coach, life coach, nutritionist, mental coach .. whatever title you’re throwing out there … most of you have no business calling yourself one.

I work with over 250 clients between in-person and online. I’m on the floor training 10–12 people every single day, Monday through Friday, 10-12 hour days. .
.
plus talking and texting with over 50 online clients around the clock. I’ve helped 3,237 people since 2014. Plus running 2 other businesses, running a gym….

šŸ’„ Y’all think being an entrepreneur is easy!? No it’s harder.

This isn’t a hobby, this isn’t a quick cash grab : this is my career. This is how we put food on the table.
.
So .. Here’s the hard truth: being a coach takes more than posting workouts on Instagram or copying someone else’s meal plan.
.
A good coach has traits that can’t be faked:
.
Empathy to actually understand people, listen and adapt to everyone.

Systems: that hold clients accountable and get results

Knowledge & education: that’s built over years, not weeks

Communication skills : so feedback actually lands, understanding, be able to receive and respond.

Tough love : to give honest, uncomfortable truth when needed

Respect : because people trust you with their health, their goals, and their life

Someone WHO IS REAL, HAPPY AND PASSIONATE ABOUT their job and PEOPLE. You need to love people in all their shapes and sizes, and all their issues and baggage.

šŸ’„ Lastly… RESULTS .. RESULTS MATTER. @shaneheugly says it all the time.
.
How many people’s lives have you changed?
.
And let’s be real… way too many of you are lazy. Half of you ā€œcoachesā€ are leaning on AI to write programs, while the other half of us spent years studying, investing in education, grinding in the trenches, and still continuing to learn daily.
.
.
Coaching is not about shortcuts.
It’s about people. Their progress. Their mental health. Their life!!!!!!!!
.
If you don’t have the traits, the discipline, or the guts to handle that, do everyone a favor and stop calling yourself a coach.

DAY 1 |
USA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS šŸ‡ŗšŸ‡ø |

Wednesday started with arriving in Las Vegas and getting straight to work.

We got our first workout in at New Tech Gym, @newtechgym then had the opportunity to pose with Jonas @makemoveswithjonas and get another experienced set of eyes on the guys before they step onto the national stage.

Peak week is never a one-person job.

It takes a team. It takes a village. It takes coaches working together, communicating, paying attention to every detail, and making sure every athlete feels supported throughout the entire process.

As the TRNSFRM coaching team, we are consistently managing travel, counting macros, timing meals, monitoring water, sodium, digestion, stress, recovery, health, and the overall mindset of each athlete.

At this point, the work has already been done.

Our job is to keep the guys calm, confident, healthy, focused, and locked into the plan. No unnecessary stress. No guessing. No last-minute chaos.

Just teamwork, consistency, calculated adjustments, and trust in the process.

This is what TRNSFRM is about.

Athletes, coaches, teammates, and a full village working together toward one goal.

Day 1 complete. Our TRNSFRM team is just getting started.

Kortland’s journey is built on consistency.

Eating clean, showing up every day, and learning to truly love the process of bodybuilding, not just the final result.

Everyone goes through something different during prep. Different struggles, different sacrifices, different battles behind the scenes. But the standard stays the same: keep showing up.

The stage is only one moment. The real transformation happens through the meals, the training, the discipline, and the choices nobody else sees.

Consistency creates the physique. Loving the process creates the athlete.

Kortland’s story. Built at TRNSFRM.

BTS šŸŽ„
Weekend recap.

Six athletes competed in one weekend. Two were out of town, while I was in St. George, Utah, with the other four.

This is what hands-on coaching looks like.

It’s not just sending a meal plan and waiting for stage photos. It’s being present through every part of the process. Checking every meal. Monitoring water and sodium. Watching the athletes’ physiques change throughout the day. Making real-time adjustments. Practicing posing. Managing nerves. Keeping everyone calm, focused, and confident before they step onstage.

It’s early mornings, late nights, constant communication, and making sure every athlete feels supported from the moment we leave until the final award is announced.

We traveled together. We ate together. We worked together. We showed up as one team.

The result:

5 medals
Most Muscular Award šŸ„‡
Best Presentation Award šŸ„‡
Best Team Award šŸ„‡ @trnsfrmfitness

Thank you @inbapnbaglobal_official and @roy.critchfield

But the biggest win was watching every athlete walk onstage prepared, confident, and knowing their coach and team were fully present.

Goals are achieved together here at TRNSFRM.

Come join the team.

10 things every man over 30 needs to start taking seriously:

1. Sleep like your health depends on it
7 to 9 hours. Recovery, hormones, mood, training performance, libido, and discipline all start there.

2. Lift heavy and train with intent
Not random workouts. Real structure. Progressive overload. 3 to 5 days a week. Train with purpose, not ego.

3. Stay lean enough to protect your health
Excess body fat will crush your energy, confidence, testosterone, insulin sensitivity, and overall quality of life.

4. Fuel your body like an athlete
Stop skipping meals, under-eating, and wondering why your energy, strength, recovery, hormones, and performance are low. Protein, carbs, healthy fats, hydration, and micronutrients all matter.

5. Stop living in a diet forever
Being in a calorie deficit year round will destroy your hormones, recovery, sex drive, training performance, and mental health.

6. Manage your stress like a man with standards
Your nervous system matters. If stress is out of control, your body will eventually show it through fatigue, poor sleep, inflammation, cravings, and low drive.

7. Get sunlight and check your vitamin D
Morning sunlight, daily walks, and blood work. Don’t guess what your body needs. Know your numbers.

8. Add the right supplements when needed
Supplements should be added based on what your body actually needs. Vitamin D, omega 3s, zinc, electrolytes, creatine, liver support, glucose support, and nutrient support should come from blood work, lifestyle, and your actual health markers.

9. Limit alcohol and stop damaging your body
Drinking every weekend and wondering why your sleep, hormones, inflammation, gut, and physique are off makes no sense.

10. Get blood work and understand your hormones
Testosterone, estrogen, thyroid, lipids, liver, kidney markers, glucose, insulin, vitamin D, B12, iron, and inflammation markers. Men over 30 need to stop guessing and start knowing.

šŸŽ„ šŸŽžļø This is more than a stage.

This is Nathalya’s story:
her first show, her first prep, and her first time stepping into a version of herself she had to build from the inside out.

Natural. Disciplined. Committed.

Behind every check-in, every meal, every cardio session, every hard training day, and every moment of doubt… there was a woman who kept choosing herself.

Bodybuilding is not just about the final look.
It’s about the person you become while chasing it.

This is the journey.
This is the work behind the scenes.
This is Nathalya.

First show. Natural athlete. And only the beginning.

I truly love what I do.

Every single day, I get to walk into the gym and teach my clients how to train with real purpose, real structure, and real intensity.

Not just going through the motions.
Not just checking boxes.
Not just doing random workouts.

Real training should challenge you physically, mentally, and emotionally. It should teach you discipline, confidence, toughness, and the ability to push past the version of yourself that keeps holding you back.

As coaches, we need to pay more attention to how our clients actually train inside the gym. Their form, their effort, their mindset, their intensity, and whether they truly understand what it means to execute.

Because the work matters.
The details matter.
The standard matters.

This is what I love about coaching. Helping people become stronger in every area of life.

Training and nutrition spots are open.

Let’s get you in the best shape of your life.

The last 60 days have been a lot.

Coaching, shows, traveling, late nights, early mornings, no sleep, client check-ins, prep brains, emotions, pressure, wins, losses, hard conversations, and still trying to show up as a human being through all of it.

Half of you don’t even know what I really do because I don’t post everything.

You don’t see the late nights.
You don’t see the phone calls.
You don’t see the stress.
You don’t see the people I help behind closed doors.
You don’t see the moments where I’m exhausted but still have to pour into everyone else.
You don’t see the tears, the pressure, the sacrifices, or the weight that comes with trying to build something real.

But I also get to live some beautiful shit.

I get to travel.
I get to coach people through life.
I get to watch people transform.
I get to be part of moments they’ll remember forever.
I get to experience things I used to pray for.

And that’s the reminder.

Life is short.
Life is precious.
None of this is promised.

So love people while they’re here.
Tell people what they mean to you.
Stop waiting for the perfect time.
Stop acting like you have forever.

Be present.
Be grateful.
Be real.

Because one day, all we’re going to have left are the memories, the people we loved, and the impact we made while we were here.

ā€œMust be geneticsā€¦ā€

Shut up.

That’s the easiest excuse people use when they don’t want to take accountability.

Because that picture right there? That was me. Overweight. Out of shape. Uncomfortable in my own body. No structure. No discipline. No real plan. Just surviving and acting like I was okay.

So don’t tell me it’s genetics.

My genetics didn’t change.

My habits did.

My standards did.

My food changed. My training changed. My cardio changed. My discipline changed. My mindset changed. My circle changed. My daily choices changed.

That’s the part people don’t want to talk about.

They want the result, but not the boring years it takes to build it. They want the body, but not the meals. They want the confidence, but not the cardio. They want the transformation, but not the uncomfortable truth that they are the reason they’re stuck.

Genetics might give you a starting point.

But structure, discipline, food, training, cardio, and consistency decide where you end up.

Stop blaming genetics.

Start telling yourself the truth.

And if you’re tired of making excuses, tired of starting over, tired of not recognizing yourself in the mirror…

Then it’s time to get coached.

I’ll give you the structure.
I’ll give you the plan.
I’ll give you the accountability.
But you have to bring the work.

Message me ā€œREADYā€ and let’s build the version of you that excuses can’t touch.

A good athlete and a bad athlete are not separated by talent.

They’re separated by mental toughness.

A good athlete can hear the truth without getting defensive. They can take constructive criticism, sit with it, apply it, and get better from it.

A bad athlete takes correction as disrespect. A good athlete takes correction as direction.

Because at the highest level, your coach is not there to babysit your feelings. Your coach is there to tell you what you need to hear so you can become who you said you wanted to be.

The ones who change are the ones who can handle the truth, apply the truth, and keep showing up anyway.
