Lets heal procrastination at the root by rebuilding identity, restoring emotional safety, and activating purpose.

NYC born & raised—when you from the trenches, survival becomes second nature.
Every woman for herself. That was the mindset.
Before the coach, before the speaking gigs—I was just a girl trying to be somebody.
Insecure. Doubtful. Queen of self-sabotage.

I played it safe so I wouldn’t have to be seen.
Rejection felt louder than my truth.
I thought success would fix the ache… but when my first business fell apart, so did I.
That low place? Whew. I wouldn’t wish it on nobody.

But that’s where Jesus met me.

I gave Him my pain and pride, and said,
ā€œIf I do this again, You lead.ā€

And from that place, I started documenting the real work—the awareness, the healing, the shifts.

Why because when I was looking for it I couldn’t find it …. When I was looking for someone to help me there was no one to be found…. But God !

One thing for sure and two things for certain.. I wasn’t the only one going through it. Which is why in the journey of me healing I actually documented because if I can pass this along to just one person … I showed God glory !

I’ve been working on some things, that will help you turn your pain into purpose. If you are on my email list you get first dibs click link in bio now to sign up.

Save this you if you to control your triggers ..

I remember when the word trigger was just used to describe being offended.
And yes, triggers can feel like an offense…
but they actually reveal more about what’s happening inside of us than what happened outside of us.

I remember walking around angry.
Not because I was mad—but because I was surrounded by my triggers.
And the way those triggers showed up in my body was through anger and control.

Once I removed myself from that environment, I finally had space to reflect and ask, why?
My body started to slow down.
And in that stillness, I realized what it had been protecting me from all along—
through suppressed emotions and buried memories.

What I learned next surprised me.
Healing wasn’t as scary as I thought.
And I didn’t have to be ruled by my pain anymore.
I could be in control of it.

Before we drop a new episode tomorrow,

Philippians 3:13–14 — forgetting what is behind and reaching forward to what is ahead.

This scripture speaks about new beginnings, but so often we don’t give ourselves permission to actually embrace them.

Speaking from someone who’s lived in survival mode…
Anything outside of rushing, hard work, or chaos used to scare me. The noise was where I functioned. Calm felt unfamiliar.

But when you get tired of running the same race, when you’re tired of being tired, you start wanting something new. You yearn for it.
And the moment you go after it, everything in you starts fighting it—not because you don’t want it, but because change doesn’t come easy.

What God showed me is that even suffering—especially when it comes to identity—is not a lonely journey. His Word reminds us that freedom is available, that we’ve been given the choice to be set free in Christ.
Yet so many of us never step into it because we’ve mistaken survival for identity.

I’m here to tell you—that’s not who you are.
God never designed you to live in survival for the rest of your life. That’s why Scripture speaks about finding rest in Him, because He brings peace—even in chaos.

This episode truly opened my eyes.
I pray it does the same for you.

Save this as a reminder … so you won’t give up next time.

How many times have you spoken something and it didn’t come true?
Or how about the times you started something, but gave up before you could see what it was really capable of?

I used to think, ā€œIf I just do the habits, the belief will come later.ā€
But that’s backwards. That’s where I was doing it wrong.

It’s the belief first, then the actions.
Because believe it or not, that belief is what keeps you in the game—or has you bowing out by the second quarter.

I did an entire episode breaking down what rewiring your system actually looks like. Most people will talk about change…
But what if you were the one who actually did it?

Can I be honest…
The answer in the beginning is usually no—because you never really know what the new version of you looks like in full. You just have an idea of who you want to be.

Showing up consistently this year was a promise I made to the new version of me. And if I’m being real, it’s uncomfortable. It makes me feel vulnerable. It low-key gives me anxiety when my overthinker tries to tap in.

But it’s also shown me something I didn’t expect:
I’m capable of keeping my word.
I’m capable of sticking through what I say yes to.

Do I still procrastinate when the views aren’t hitting? Yes.
Do the negative thoughts still pop up? Absolutely.

But something is building—new belief systems. Proof that I can do what I put my mind to.

I dare you to do one thing over and over that makes you uncomfortable and watch what grows from it. The Lord told us we would face trials and tribulations in this world—but He never said we’d face them alone.

Just because you thought it—and it crossed your mind—doesn’t mean it’s true.

The average person has anywhere from 12,000 to 60,000 thoughts a day, and most of them are negative or repetitive.

I remember wrestling with my own mind, wondering if I would ever overcome the system that was designed before I even had a say. I thought who I was… was who I’d always be.

And when I look back, I wasn’t a bad person—
I was just the person standing in the way of my own purpose.

I’m not here to convince you that you’re broken.
But I am here to ask:

Has the current you given the new you permission to take control?
Permission to live the life you dream about?
To be consistent in your prayer life?
To build meaningful relationships outside of survival mode?

Or are you still wondering if any of that is even attainable—
based on the belief system you’ve been operating in your whole life?

This podcast episode is going to help you rewire what trauma created and align with what God already wrote for you.

For years, I wrestled with who I really was.
Was I who I wanted to be?
Was I who others said I was?
Or was I who God was calling me to be?

So many questions ran through my mind, and I battled with myself and my purpose because, for a long time, I didn’t know where I stood.

Then God showed me something that changed everything:

Who you were does not define who you are.

We often think that because we did certain things—or still struggle with certain things—that means that’s who we are.
But that’s not true.

Give yourself permission to show up as the person God called you to be,
not the person your environment shaped,
not the version trauma forced you to become,
but the one God intentionally designed.

ā€œFor it was You who created my inward parts; You knit me together in my mother’s womb.ā€
— Psalm 139:13

I love this episode for two reasons:
1ļøāƒ£ I recorded it in a short amount of time (I had company coming šŸ˜…)
2ļøāƒ£ The Holy Spirit completely took over and led the conversation where it needed to go.

When you’re under stress… what type of procrastination shows up for you?
Are you the ā€œlazyā€ type?
The delayed type?
Or the paralyzed type that just freezes?

What if the type of procrastination showing up is actually your body telling you to relax instead of doing more?

One of the biggest mistakes we make is thinking the same method fixes every type of procrastination.
The generic 3-2-1 method or ā€œjust get it doneā€ mindset is NOT the solution for all procrastinators.

For me, I dealt with procrastination for years.
I tried everything Google and the internet told me.
Nothing changed… until I got to the root.

Once I understood why I procrastinated, things started shifting.
I showed up more.
I rested more.
And I had to unlearn the lie that rest = laziness.

I also finally identified the type of procrastinator I was —
so I could use tools that worked for me, not the cliché ones the internet pushes.

Because believe it or not…
All procrastination is NOT the same.

I have a tool that helps you:
• Identify your procrastination type
• Bring awareness to self-sabotaging habits
• Stop them before they take over

Comment ā€œtoolā€ and I’ll DM you personally.

Have you given yourself permission to really be you?

Think about it…
Being in survival mode isn’t because you like being tough and strong.
Something happened that forced you to be that way.

I know that too well — fighting my emotions, always being ā€œthe strong one,ā€
where any sign of weakness wasn’t allowed.
My guard became my protection… and I didn’t even know how to function without it.

But what if I told you there’s a tool that helps you become aware of your triggers —
instead of just blaming your coworker for being annoying?

This tool helps you:
• Connect your surface habits to the root behind them
• Become aware without being afraid of your triggers
• Safely work through what’s bothering you without being overwhelmed
• Take control of your triggers instead of letting them control you

If you’re interested, comment ā€œREADYā€ and I’ll personally send you the link

Actually got done:
Tightened the knobs in the cabinet. šŸ˜•

And listen… procrastination is not always laziness.
Sometimes it looks like being productive on things that feel important —
but really, they’re just easier than the things that actually matter.

Because in the moment, you don’t want to face the real task.

But guess what?
It’s deeper than avoiding a task.

Procrastination shows what’s on the surface,
but it reveals what’s really underneath.

Ever notice how you look forward to doing something…
then the moment it’s time, you feel discouraged out of nowhere?

That’s because when the task is in front of you,
something rooted comes to the surface —
and that’s where procrastination rears its ugly head.

If you deal with this, you’re not alone —
you were just misinformed.

Because not all procrastination looks the same.

And I have a tool that helps you:
āœ” Identify the type of procrastinator you are
āœ” Understand the self-sabotage connected to it
āœ” And stop the patterns at the root

Comment ā€œTYPEā€ and I’ll DM you the link.

On another episode of #seatbeltsessions

A short moment of self-reflection will really show you something…

Being in survival mode makes you believe you can do all things off the strength you were forced to create.
You learned how to carry, push, endure, and not break — but at what cost?

But walking in authority — the kind God gives — looks different.
It allows you to walk in your healing instead of begging for it.
To rest instead of always resisting.
To trust instead of just surviving.

Survival taught me how to make it through.
But God is teaching me how to live healed.

New Podcast Episode goes Into detail on how procrastination isn’t something you do because you want to push things back.
It’s something that became part of your identity.

And if you don’t rewire that system, you’ll keep finding yourself in the same loop…
Trying to break out of an old version of you with the same old patterns.

Creating a reward system isn’t about being perfect.
It’s about noticing when you did one thing different than before.

Getting something done — even in a short amount of time — interrupts procrastination and quiets the overthinking.

Rewarding yourself is simply saying,
ā€œThank you for choosing me today.ā€

Save this as a reminder to stop overthinking…
and just get it done. šŸ’›
