Lately, God has been teaching me what it really means to wait on Him. Not the easy, patient kind of waiting, but the kind where you feel like you’re at the end. The kind where everything feels like it’s falling apart, where the silence is loud, and it’s hard to see anything good on the other side of what you’re facing.

I’m still learning this. I don’t always get it right. There are moments I question, moments I feel anxious, overwhelmed, or tired of holding on. Moments where grief, disappointment, or uncertainty try to speak louder than truth. But even here, God is still good.

Even in the waiting. Even in the heartbreak. Even in the confusion, the pain, the loss, the prayers that feel unanswered.

I’m learning to trust that His timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t make sense to me. I’m learning that His plans are still better, even when they don’t look like mine. That He is not absent in our pain, but present, working quietly, faithfully, for our good and for His glory.

And the beautiful thing is because of Jesus, we are never too far gone to begin again. No matter how messy, how broken, or how delayed things feel, we can still start over. His grace is still enough. His mercy is still new. His love still meets us right where we are.

So even if the outcome isn’t what we hoped for, even if things don’t turn around the way we imagined.

We will still say: He is good.

Jesus, for all of us who are in seasons of waiting, hurting, or not understanding, strengthen our hearts. Teach us to trust You even when it’s hard. Remind us that You are near, that You are good, and that You are still making all things new. Help us to believe that we can start again with You, no matter where we are. Let us rest in Your perfect plan. Amen. by @loveaisne
