I made a little ebook - it's like a little guided scripture companion of 20 names of Christ. It includes scripture prompts from the bible, book of Mormon and general conference quotes for each of the 20 Names of Christ. It's 43 pages. After each name there is a guided prompt. Sometimes, when i am working on an art piece I panic for a minute at the “middle” part or after I made a mistake…. . I cant leave it at that or else it’s much harder for me to come back to it. — on that same coin — It’s always the middle parts that make the top layer stand out the most. The layers of paint stack up and form a more cohesive painting. But in a way, aren’t we all paintings? sometimes maybe we look a little bit “in the middle” of something but as we continue to turn to him we can feel less “disheveled” and more like the person He wants us to be. #forgiveness #lifelessons taken in Provo City Center Temple by @lovearthomeco

Her house is a house of… order-ish.
Not because it’s spotless. (It’s definitely not.)
Not because the schedule always runs smoothly. (It never does.)
But because love lives here.
Some days it feels like I’m drowning in laundry (seriously you should have seen it last week?) or just exhaustion—but God doesn’t ask for perfect….
He asks for effort. I made this design as a little reminder that it’s okay if the house is a little “ish.” (This is a reminder for me more than anyone else).
The aim matters more than the outcome.
The love matters more than the list.

I’ve been talking to my 5yr old a lot recently about death. Mostly because my grandma died this year and so have a few dogs in my extended family. It’s his questions asking “but when will I see her next?” Or “where did she go?” Or “will dogs be in heaven?” Or other questions, like “mom, what if you died tomorrow?” “I won’t,” I say - “but mom, how would you know?”— these questions echo into the painful parts of my heart that miss my grandparents and everyone I’ve ever lost. They echo and bounce back to the gratitude of Jesus, the Hope he brings into my life. He helps me comfort a crying 5 year old; when I’m crying to myself trying to convince him I won’t die randomly the next day ….and that… even if I did…. there is a forever that God gave to us through Him.
