💌 baagh portrait

I wanted to challenge myself to paint a person rather than landscapes and this was the result!

I took inspiration from @nauesgone (I loooove their style so much thank you pinterest for leading me to them!) and a little from Yoshimoto Nara (@michinara3) for the eyes but I wasn't able to achieve the beautiful magical glow of the eyes in his paintings

@artplaylondon I'll be back to try again because I can clearly only paint under time constraints lmao

(To my lovely friends who bought me the nicest watercolours ever for my birthday, this is my confession that the most I did was open and admire the paint.. it's just too beautiful to use!) by @lovebaagh

💌 breaking news: a bit of whimsy is now part of the food pyramid

I genuinely love this plate so much I was hesitant to use it even though I made it with the intention to have a cute plate to feel the joy I feel during breakfast (last slide has my breakfast plate) for the rest of my meals!

This was definitely influenced by tomodachi life & the original one was inspired by animal crossing but I do love calling these polls pocket plates

I already have ideas for my next visit to @bonbonpotterylondon 💕🐯

💌 recreating kids drawings are genuinely so fun and they love it!

As much as I hate how laborious and monotonous the process of making snakes are it was the perfect base to recreate this monster my cousin loves to draw.

I felt like Dr. Frankenstein taking elements from different patterns to make this - snake body + bee antenna + leaves + dinosaur spikes = this!

This was such a fun make because of his choice of colours (which I wouldn't have chosen but they work so well) and his reaction made me so proud to have this has a hobby!

(P.S. We all kept singing the beginning of Stateside all evening so it only makes sense to use it as the background music!)

💌 My first bead embroidery!

I had a lot of fun (and maybe a dab of frustration à la string) working on @miyuki_beads_japan 's dango harapeko brooch that I picked up from @magma_books a little while ago!

I am obsessed with it and will definitely be doing some more bead embroidery in the future. I already have some ideas on what I want to make!

Also, I am in the final stages of refining a long awaited pattern (not the longest awaited but the most requested!) Between trying to edit the videos I have taken and making one more trial version since I need to make a little tweak I should have something you have been looking foward to very soon (hint: 🔴)
