my full commencement speech! it was an incredible honor to’ve been nominated by eckerd’s creative arts collegium and voted on by my peers to speak on behalf of the graduating class of 2023. two main messages: EMBRACE STILLNESS & SEEK TO TRANSGRESS • thank you @bellhooks_ for your ideas on transgressive pedagogy which i resonate with so deeply. rest in power. • thank you @adriennemareebrown for your articulation of fractals and emergence that have so beautifully clarified how to zoom both in and out, and orient thinking/acting towards justice in a meaningful, interconnected & embodied way. • thank you @resmaamenakem for helping me feel myself in my own body and access a relationship with my vagus/soul nerve, and turn to clean pain. • and thank you to my professor and eastman program mentor, @langenap for creating the space and providing tools for me to nurture my best self. your guidance was invaluable. taken in Eckerd College by @lovebauer_

if i can go rave alone in ibiza for 5 days you can go out solo for a night🙂‍↕️ but srsly in general never let “i have no one to go with” stop you from attending something you think is cool. and woah you might just find someone who too enjoys that kind of thing🤯 but even if not, pretty slay you did/experienced it & enjoyed your own company and if anyone does judge you for existing as an individual that’s insecure boring behaviorr every moment is fleeting and we’re all gonna die carpe diem spread love xx taken in Ibiza by @lovebauer_

handful of pieces over last year or so back figure + portrait modeling :) if you can meditate through physical discomfort, want to feel more comfortable being perceived/naked (or already do!), want to support artists and see yourself in new ways… i’d highly recommend picking up part time modeling at your local art center ! by @lovebauer_
