I dreaded going through postpartum again the second time around. I was so anxious that it will be like the last time, PPD, the endless cycle of contact naps, boob and lack of sleep. Little did I know, I end up feeling so confident in everything I was doing, the contact naps weren’t so bad anymore, the lack of sleep in the first few weeks were just a small window of time, we even ended up going out all the time and barely tracked his naps during the day. Finally got my clear aligners from @urbansmileaus in and I am EXCITED. The actual process of getting the attachments took less than an hour and I won’t have to have any more appointments until after I finish all 22 trays (which is SO HANDY, especially for busy mums like me). Main things I’ve had to do to adjust is: - limited snacking opportunities (this is definitely a blessing in disguise): I snack SO much, but because I’m meant to wear the aligners as much as possible, I have definitely snacked less purely for convenience reasons- the first few days of changing trays is always the hardest, teeth can feel a bit uncomfortable but that only means the aligners are doing its job to make your smile straighter! - always use the chewy: I was a little lazy some days and found that my teeth actually didn’t move as much as they were meant to and ended up having to stay on the tray for longer than a week, so don’t be lazy like me! - I have definitely started feeling more confident with my smile already and just excited for each week!! ......#clearaligners #straightteeth #clearaligner #smilewithconfidence by @lovecherriiee

Some of my favourite winter coats for the season 🤍 I think it is so important to know what you’re buying for winter, there are so many beautiful coats out there which are really pricey but when you look at the composition, they’re more than 60% polyester (IMO definitely not worth the money). Here are some of my favourite ones from a range of price points and different wool compositions too. 6 things that are expensive but actually worth your money: 1. Lasik eye surgery: I had this done back in 2019 and to this day, it is still the best thing I did. For someone who had terrible eyesight since 12, you have no idea how amazing it is to wake up and be able to see things without a blurry vision. No more dry eyes from contacts tyvm2. Reformer studio membership or just any Pilates/yoga ones: the only way I stay motivated enough to move my body. I don’t have to think for an hour, and because I’ve paid already, I feel more inclined to go 👀3. Clear aligners: a new one as I recently just started my journey with @urbansmileaus 💛 while my treatment is done through a collaboration (so grateful) it would’ve definitely been something I would’ve done on my own even if I didn’t have this opportunity. It’s still early days, but I can see how my teeth are already getting so much straighter 4. Korean skincare: so affordable and always make your skin look so glowy and hydrated. I’ve been using so many Korean products for so many years now and really do see a big difference compared to the products I see in stores here 5. @dyson_anz airwrap: have had my original airwrap for years and it is still in amazing condition. 6. Anything 100% cotton, cashmere, wool or leather is worth your money. They will be pieces that will last longer and ones that you will reach for years to come. Still going through archives from Japan and this was one of our favourite mornings in Kamakura 🤎we decided to use the @mumma_etc carrier for the morning as it was a little easier to get around the town. Most people go to Kamakura for a day trip, but with the two kids, we decided staying for four nights would make things a little easier and gosh we loved it so much! It was the perfect escape from the busy city 🇯🇵 #ad......#japantravels #kamakurajapan #travelwithbaby #travelwithkidstips Our first stop was this cute crepe place close to our hotel. It’s definitely not the typical Japanese breakfast we usually go for, but it was just so cute! It was run by an old couple and I’m pretty sure those stairs on the left led up to their home upstairs 🥺 Such a fun strip to walk down with lots of food stalls and souvenirs. I was so glad that we used our @mumma_etc carrier through the busy strip as it would’ve been quite hard to weave through the crowds with our pram. Remmy even fell asleep all on his own 🥺Nothing better than street food. Japan loves their strawberries, and honestly I don’t think I’ve had better strawberries anywhere else 🍓 Remmy ended up waking up after an hour, but he just happily stayed in the carrier while we snacked. We finished the morning with a matcha 🍵 my only regret was not choosing the one with strawberries in it. by @lovecherriiee
