POSTS STORIES REELS

1. Music was my whole world: I played the clarinet for 23 years and studied clarinet performance at the University of Montana in Missoula. The discipline and rhythm I learned in my music studies now goes into every fold. 🎶 🥟

2.Global childhood roots: I'm Filipina and I was born in the Philippines but in my childhood I grew up in Japan and Guam soaking in the flavors and cultures which have influence in what I enjoy cooking today. 🌏

3. A heart full of wanderlust: I lived in Montana from age 13 to 29 and swore I’d never leave. But life had other plans! I’ve since lived in Nicaragua, Kansas City, Ensenada and have been loving life in Todos Santos for almost 9 years now (my son was actually born right here in Todos Santos). 🌵🌊

4.The ultimate leap of faith: Despite 2.5 decades in the food service industry when I launched this dumpling business 6 years ago, I had zero dumpling-folding skills and no clue how to run a business. I had a dream and took action anyway. What I didn't know I learned how to do and when I failed I learned to do it better and tried again.

Every bag of handmade dumplings carries a piece of this wild, beautiful journey. And if you're waiting to start something of your own, remember: Do it - even if it's ugly! Because every time you wait until you're ready, somebody else is out there doing it wrong, learning, and getting better. 💛

Emotionally I am ready to step back from this "main character" energy and actually hire people. 🙃 Financially . . . well that's next level.

¡Feliz viernes amigos!

¡Hola! Soy yo, Cristina -- the maker, the entrepreneur, the person waking up early to fold hundreds of dumplings by hand.

Truth is, this audio is just me talking out loud a mí mismo as I take bold steps to grow my dumplings business -- 💓.

I am learning that entrepreneurship is the most intense course in personal development I've ever taken. It demands systems, endless repetition, and relentless self-trust.

Sharing this for anyone else making a decision to take bold action in their life or business right now. You don't need absolute perfection—just a decision, aligned action, and the willingness to show up.✨

¿Mientras tanto? Bold action requires fuel. Feed yourself with our wholesome, delicious, and intentionally made dumplings—handcrafted with love & ready to pick up at any of our local retail partners in town.

Dumplings congelados x artesanales x hechos para ti -- 🫶. by @lovedumplings_

Some days, the universe sends a downpour so heavy that the only option left is to turn inward. 🌧️✨

With the rain coming down hard outside today, it felt like the perfect invitation to stay home, turn on the stove, and get lost in the quiet rhythm of preparing veggie dumplings. Chopping fresh vegetables, prepping ingredients, folding each piece by hand—it’s always been my meditation.

Today, though, a lot of deep emotions surfaced while I worked. Heavy ones: uncertainty, anxiety, fear, and scarcity. Instead of pushing them away or trying to stay busy to ignore them, I sat with them. I allowed myself to feel every bit of it, to really understand where those feelings were coming from, and to hold space for myself in the quiet.

Making food with my own hands is how I process and transmute that energy. Taking those heavy feelings and pouring pure love, presence, and intention back into every batch of dumplings allows me to shift that uncertainty into grounding. It reminds me exactly who I am, why I do this, and what I want to bring into the world: nourishing, soulful food made with real heart.

To anyone else navigating a heavy or uncertain day: give yourself permission to feel it all, find your anchor, and let your craft hold you. 🥟🤍

Les quiero xoxo,
Cristina

Life lately:

A beautiful & chaotic dance of transitions. Navigating shifts on a personal level, growing my business daily, all while being the best mom I can be.

Some days look like perfect, uniform pleats on a fresh batch of pork dumplings. Other days look like flour in my hair, a delivery falling through (communicative or physical), answering business texts at the park.

I used to think balance meant keeping everything perfectly still. Now, I'm learning that true balance is just staying grounded while everything moves around me. Sharing these handmade dumplings with your families brings me so much joy, and your support gives me the strength to keep rolling through every new chapter.

Thank you to everyone who has purchased my dumplings, shared a post or sent a kind message -- 🩷. You aren't just supporting a local business; you're supporting a mom making her dreams happen during a time of big change. ✨
