I have been so emotional all day today. I really can’t believe my TV partner is 21. Happy 21st birthday to my twin. Jianni, i love you so much! You are such a sweet and thoughtful kid. I am 2 months late, but momcation this year was so fulfilling. Normally momcation is spent away from my kids but this year I spent a portion of it with my oldest heartbeat. We did some shopping for her apartment in those NY streets.. she put me on the bus & the subway 😳, still don’t know if i am over that experience. Lol.. and she did me the honor of attending a broadway play with me. I absolutely LOVE going to broadway and the fact that she joined me was icing on the cake. & if you know Des, you know we going out to eat. I love spending quality time with my baby. On top of being able to spend time with her, I got to hang with my best friend and her husband and some of his Duke friends cheering on Duke ( I’m sure they still mad Duke lost 🫣) & spent time with my sisters!! I love those ladies to life. Ladies, don’t let people make you feel bad or less of a mom if you need to take a moment for yourself. The younger me felt like my presence was more beneficial to my kids but the older version of me knows that, if my cup is empty, I can’t give anything to anyone else. Fill your cup first, then you can pour into someone else. Momcation was full of exceptional food, amazing plays and some good ole basketball. I now feel ready to give 2026 all I have to offer. If you don’t do anything else, remember to make time for people that mean something to you, time doesn’t wait for anyone!! P.S. Happy 27th birthday Destiny!!! I love you so much girly!!! Can’t believe you are 27… like really. Does that mean you old or am i??? lol!
