I wanted to give up on EVERYTHING but these were the words that formed

Through THE GRACE of GOD. I wrote this song.🥲

It’s called “Your Will” and this is the acoustic version!

I was in full time ministry with Eddie James and we came upon a spontaneous instrumental worship moment. And I was in a VERY ugly place emotionally. I wanted to give up on everything… SERIOUSLY

YET somehow the only words that came out

“LET YOUR WILL BE DONE”

Ugh so weird.. I LITERALLY have voice memos in 2023, of me singing this, I always record melodies and stuff. And in the recording, YALL I SOUND SO BROKEN, TIRED AND HURT maybe one day I’ll have the courage to post on my STORIES cuz Ooooof 😭

but these words were heavy.

I NOW understand BY EXPERIENCE the weight of telling God. Let Your Will Be Done🥲

My significant other produced this song so beautifully and he is beyond talented and anointed, he helped me not only with this work, but encouraged me and I’m just so thankful to have a village that’s available. ❤️ @_elijahbarreto

honestly.. I dislike posting transparency posts because of the vulnerability that’s required but SERIOUSLY God will do it everytime. He’s a good shepherd! I dealt with health complications that week BUT GODDDDDDD😮‍💨, was He present during this set cuz only the Lorddddd knows. I never talk about what I go through often (especially in the moment troubles😬😬) but God truly got complete glory of this moment so I just had to.

2 Corinthians 12:9 where God tells the Apostle Paul: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” I felt that verse LITERALLY come to life during that moment.

Everyone goes through battles. Everyone has something they’re facing whether it be emotional, mental,physical,spiritual, financial, and familial.

BUT IM SO GLAD WE DON’T LOOK LIKE WHAT WE’VE BEEN THROUGH because WE decided to praise Jehovah even through the storm.

TRANSPARENCY MOMENT:
(if you do travel ministry.. PLZ READ)

Problem:
After transitioning Eddie James Ministry, (nothing short of beautiful and challenging and strengthening in every way, a ministry I’m forever grateful for) things felt super weird. Because you were so used to another routine.. then all of a sudden, that routine you were used to was no longer. Kinda felt like, well now what. There were open doors left and right but you didn’t know which to enter. And then I did a couple of engagements with amazing ministries but still felt.. out of place and it had nothing to do with the ministries, it was all me, I felt odd with myself. I really thought maybe I need deliverance.

Reason:
I slowly come to realize that doing ministry under a covering was much more comforting because you had someone who can cover you. That’s how it was with EJM. No matter what church, what denomination or atmosphere you were ministering in front of or pouring into.. you had a grounded DNA, structure and covering that wouldn’t be shaken. If you were ever drifting, your spiritual covering would put you in place and direct you and constantly remind you where you’re supposed to be.

Reason for solution:
Doing travel ministry without spiritual covering, will leave you lost or at risk of eating shared bread that you weren’t supposed to eat off of. Rolling like the wind not having a set of convictions that keep you grounded because wherever you go, becomes poured into you, when you were sent to be the one that pours into wherever you go. That’s dangerous in your walk. I remember God wasn’t pleased so I had stopped travel ministry until I had proper covering.

Fears I had but GOD:
At first I was scared because I felt like if I decline engagements, I’ll be losing bookings. God quickly reminded me of His faithfulness and promises, and most of all His Sovereignty. I quickly remembered that it’s Him who brings increase not man. God hasn’t failed me and never will!! He’s shown me His goodness and faithfulness!

This Friday in Hot Springs Arkansas. God had a divine appointment. It was such an honor and privilege to lead worship and minister a Word along side family that night! All glory goes to God! He had His Holy way
