We heard the ghosts 👻 of Flemington calling to bring back the Kids Costume Parade so we listened! Monsters 🧟‍♂️ , Fairies 🧚🏻‍♀️ , Superheros🦸‍♀️ and fantastical creatures 🐉 alike are welcome to join us for a Halloween Parade and Costume Contest in Court Street Park on October 29th from 5:30 to 7:30pm! 🕷️Witching Hours have begun… Your votes were counted, and we have a winner… This year’s theme is Haunted Carnival 🎪 This free, family- and pet-friendly outdoor event features a costume contest, a traditional group witches’ dance, food trucks, local drinks, and a curated night market. The Society of Neighbors and Love Flemington present the 2026 Halloween House and Business Decoration Contest! 👻 Please register your residence or your business by noon on Monday 10/26 to be included! Register using the link in our bio or in person at Borough Hall. Rules: • To enter to win a prize, your home or business must be in Flemington Borough! • The contest only applies to “Exterior and Street-Facing Decorations” • Please register your home or business exterior • Judges will only consider locations registered by Tuesday 10/26 by Noon to become prize winners! • You have until Tuesday 10/26 at 6 pm to finish decorating before the judges hit the streets. Winners will be notified on Nov. 1st by phone or email and a post and reel on the @loveflemington FB and Instagram! We will also make a live announcement on Main Street on 11/1 at 7pm at the bench by near the corner of Main Street and Bloomfield Avenue. 🍬 Candy Donations Needed! Flemington Borough’s Halloween Candy Assistance Program is still approximately 40 bags of candy short! Residents in high-traffic areas welcome hundreds of visitors each Halloween. This is a great way to support your local community. Flemington Borough Hall is accepting unopened bags of individually wrapped candy through October 26. Donations can be dropped off at Borough Hall during regular business hours or at the Police Department after hours and on weekends. They would also be happy to coordinate pickup if that makes donating easier. This program is supported by the Flemington Borough Clerk, The Flemington Borough Office of Emergency Management and the Flemington Borough CERT Team. All donated candy will be distributed to participating Borough residents. Additional information regarding resident pickup and distribution will be announced in mid-October. Come together THIS SATURDAY to be part of something truly special 💓 @evolvepink envisioned this beautiful community event where homes, businesses, storefronts, landmarks, and communities across New Jersey light up pink as a visible support for everyone whose life has been touched by breast cancer. At 5pm, we will join together on Stangl Road here in Flemington to kick it all off! Come listen to a performance by the New Jersey Women’s Choir and live music by @micki.niedziejko , hear about Evolve Pink’s mission, and participate in a candle/luminary moment. The actual light up will take place around 6:45pm when it starts getting dark. Pink Light Up kits are available for $20 on Stangl that evening for anyone who would like one. However, a kit is absolutely NOT REQUIRED to participate. Put a pink bulb in a window, hang pink lights, light up your porch… anything pink counts! @the3dlabflemington is hosting "Print Something PINK" Walk-In Printing from 5:00 to 7:00. No experience or registration necessary. Kids 6+ can be dropped off and picked up. $30 per hour, with $5 each being donated to Evolve Pink. Last seating is at 6:30pm. AND a free 3D Pink Pumpkin Hunt! You can find FREE 3D-printed pumpkins and bats hidden along the length of both sides of Stangl road starting at 5:00.  Only one find per hunter, please.  While supplies last.
