I’m officially closed to queries. I’m still working through April - June and have a lot to get through. If you send me a query after 6/30 it will be deleted. You can try me again when I reopen. I’m not sure when that will be but it is usually at the start of a new season.

I pitched this gem as YOU meets STRANGER THINGS and through each draft, it grew into a beautiful way to help @brittany.a.mara use horror to heal. 🥀

After nearly thirteen long beautiful years together, I had to say goodbye to my sweet Jude this weekend.

If you had the honor of knowing @heyjudethedoodle, you knew he was the kind of soul that would change your heart. As an extension of my own love and light, he was more than a dog to me.

Jude was my soulmate. The living being that knew me the most intimately. The longest, healthiest relationship I have ever had. He was with me through my good days and bad. We survived really tough years and also had the most fun together (best matching Halloween costume partner ever!).

But I started grieving Jude about two years ago after his surgery. (He liked to grow friends in hard places.) I remember sitting in the oncologist’s office and Jude vocally giving a big loud bark-no to radiation. He promised me one more World Cup instead. Statistically, we had about 1-2 years left to trust the unknown, understanding that little friends would grow back and new friends could start to silently appear. We entered our final act and got a year and nine months together in our last chapter.

Jude passed peacefully on a new moon in Libra on October 10th, rating his long and happy life a 10/10! But he wouldn’t have been able to do that without Dr. Whitworth and the entire team @westlynnvet who loved Jude so much, they did everything to help me get all the information possible.

We would not have been able to have our final moments together without the compassionate and patient team @medvet who let me take my time, giving me options to keep Jude stable, while I made the hardest choice I’ve would ever have to make for him.

You can try to prepare when you have to let go of someone you love, but logic and grief intertwine into a vine you can’t untangle alone. Jude was my emotional support. He knew I would need a few extra souls to process the grief and help me say goodbye.

Forever grateful for my therapist and @rachel.kucera for helping me through the longest day of our final chapter. My dad for cross checking information and giving me advice. My brother and mom for being there with me in his final moments to make sure I wasn’t alone once he crossed over the marigold bridge. And to by @loveleemonicaa

Another week as a literary agent but this time we’re at HQ in nyc baby! 🗽#amagenting

Packed days in the city and I’ve learned that having a solo breakfast ritual is essential for me. I find a treat yourself place and journal before the day starts.

This year’s @peopleofpublishingcon was all about growing together and I shared some helpful tips on how I manage my list as a #literaryagent as a panelist!

Catching up via zoom is one thing but seeing some agent friends and meeting new agents in the city is always the best move.

Representing both kid lit clients and adults, I switch my brain between meetings and had great conversations @penguinrandomhouse offices.

I always see a show when I’m in town and I can’t stop thinking about @disruptionplay!

The magic doesn’t stop when I’m traveling and had a top secret meeting with a client.

I could spend the whole day @themorganlibrary, this was my first time visiting and was star struck at their tarot exhibit.

Serendipity happened @booksofwonder after my conference and I got to see @mallowboo and @diggymungo at a panel for ANIME CLUB!

More meetings in Manhattan and went down to @macmillanusa for some great views and a lovely conversation about some exciting adult fiction books I’m getting ready to submit!

We got to do an agency photoshoot and my advertising days reactivated as creative director.

The work doesn’t stop when I get back to unwind but it was nice to have a little treat and end the days with a nice view. Literary agent in Manhattan by @loveleemonicaa

I fell in love with this book because it was a messy blueprint to adult sibling relationships. A dual pov between a brother and a sister navigating their mother’s grief as they discover secrets and the lives of their parents living life for the first time too.

After years of writing it, @deenaelg and I crossed paths and I took it out on submission for a while. I didn’t give up on it after many rejections, but it was waiting for a home that was waiting for us. This gem became the first book @boundless_press and many have connected with this story in the same way we did behind the scenes. One year later and this beauty is one today 🥲

Unreliable narrators and intrusive thoughts manifested into a massive web of lies? Yes, please! This was sooooooo messy which made it incredibly delicious and one if my favorite books this year.

Reading this made me binge pistachios by the pool as I cackled and gasped in escándalo. Plus, the ending had me GAGGED, I tell ya! GAGGED!

Highly recommend if you love a messy character and satirical prose about a situation completely blown out of proportion. There are a few trigger warnings for this one so make sure you asses accordingly before diving in 🫶🏽
