Soooo I do NOT play about my birthday 😂 If I had to rank the holidays, it’s my birthday at #1, Christmas at a very respectable #2, and everything else follows.

So guess what I did?? Took the ENTIRE week off which consisted of Self care, pouring into Karson’s Gift, and just soaking up every moment of my time ✨

To everyone who showered me with love, birthday wishes, donations, and gifts thank you from the absolute bottom of my heart. I felt every bit of it and I am SO appreciative. You all made this birthday week one to remember 🧡

Oooh and many mentioned that my knees still work 😂😂 YES they do…comes from my consistent work outs 😂

This year we’re stepping into the RMH Trees of Hope a little different. RMH was our home for 4 months in 2018 but this year we are honoring our son Karson whom we lost December 2023.

What a BIG Day for Kenzo!! His evaluation for therapeutic horseback riding!
He did so well, and was all smiles at the end 🐴 🧡 He’ll be starting classes this fall and we couldn’t be more excited to watch him grow through this journey. SUPER proud of you Kenzo!

A time was had on Capitol Hill!
Thank you @nicuparentnetwork and their awesome team for making this happen.
Advocacy is the heart of everything we do at Karson’s Gift! 🧡✨

Our Executive Director took on Capitol Hill representing Connecticut and took our mission to state representatives to advocate for NICU families. Resolutions that support parents through their NICU journey,the Donor Act and the Preemie Act along with the ask to extend and support FMLA leave for NICU parents and to protect funding for crucial maternal mental health programs.

I didn’t take many photos this weekend... I was too busy basking in the moment.

The Tiny Miracles Foundation held their beautiful annual gala “Making Strides” 💜

If you know my journey with Kenzo you know how much the NICU community means to me. This weekend, @thetinymiraclesfoundation honored Elisabeth Schneider. Elisabeth mentored me through it all. Seeing her recognized as a Miracle Maker was a full circle moment for me.

Huge thank you to @thetinymiraclesfoundation for all you do for families like mine and within our hospitals.
