When I first considered adopting, I was told about the 3-3-3 rule. 3 days to adjust to new surroundings, 3 weeks to settle in and feel safe, and in 3 months the dog is bonded for life.

Today, Rudy and I hit the 3 month mark. I spent the last 90 days nurturing and caring for Rudy so he feels safe bonding with me after being abandoned by his previous owner.

In the past 3 months Rudy has flourished. He has taken to training and is thriving in his new home and routine. Every day he becomes a more confident, trusting, happy pup. I am honored to be Rudy's mom and #kahu 🙏🏼🥰
