Okay really last race of the year evlhalf marathon. Everyone said the hills were very tough and I needed to be ready. Did no hill training for this race, injured most of the year but 2nd fastest time in a half. It was a pretty good day! Proud of this on highest elevation in a race I’ve ever done. Really looking forward to next season! …..

That’s a wrap on this race season! Two half’s and a full. Was it the season I wanted, not really but I’m grateful! I was injured all season except for 1 8 week block however that block I PR’ed my half. Lessons learned don’t wait on signing up for races or take your health for granted. Am I happy I was still able to run absolutely! Can’t wait for a big race season next year! Good luck to everyone racing fall races! …

@shamrockmarathon marathon this was a fun race . Any speedy runners this is for sure a fast course. The weather was good no complaints. I had a crappy training block with winter and an injury but set a small PR so wasn’t expecting that so I’ll take it. Congratulations everyone running races this weekend! by @lovenrunning

Marathon incoming 5 weeks! Thought I could make it with my shoes, that was a big “no”! New replacement shoes @saucony speed 4 have been working great for training, let’s see how the marathon goes. First half marathon ever in 2023 and started running just 5 months before that run. Now going into 2025 I’m looking at my second marathon in March and a year of runs and hopefully injury free for a fall marathon. Bring on the new year!
