Hi cuties 🤍 I’m Savanah, the girl behind OC Cuties and I wanted to share something a little more personal today.

The news coming out of Cornell has been sitting really heavy with me. More than anything, I want every woman in this community to feel safe, cared for, and supported, at OC Cuties events and in everyday life.

Sexual violence affects far too many women, and I know there may be girls in this community who have experienced something similar. Whether you have or you’re simply feeling shaken by the news, I want you to know this: I believe you. I support you. I see you. You never have to share your story publicly to deserve care and support.

OC Cuties will always be about making friends, trying fun things, and creating sweet memories together but it will also be about women showing up for women and looking out for one another.

At any hosted OC Cuties event, if you ever feel uncomfortable or need help stepping away from a situation, please find me or one of our hosts. We are here to help you get somewhere you feel more comfortable.

A year ago today I landed in California completely alone and honestly terrified. I took a leap for my dream job and moved my entire life 2,000 miles from home. Since then I’ve met the most amazing person and had adventures I never expected. Tonight I’m watching the same sunset I watched on day one. The hardest and biggest year of my life, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

The prettiest events take a whole lot of hands behind the scenes 🥹🎀 Petals & Portraits was such a dreamy day, but it absolutely would NOT have happened without the amazing girls who volunteered their time, energy, creativity, and helping hands to bring it all together.

From setting up and moving things around to helping throughout the day and tackling all the little details no one ever sees! a HUGE, HUGE thank you to every single one of our volunteers 🥹🫶🏼 You are such an important part of OC Cuties, and these bigger events genuinely would not happen without you. We appreciate you more than you know

And a huge thank you to @spiffycreatives for working alongside us and capturing all the love, laughter, details, and behind the scenes magic of the day 📸🌸 Having these moments documented is such a gift

We know it’s hard putting yourself out there. But most girls come to OC Cuties events solo and leave with voice memos, new group chats, weekend plans, inside jokes, and friends who genuinely cheer for them. And sometimes those friendships start by showing up and building something special together 🥹💕

It really does take a little village to make the magic happen. We’re very lucky ours wears bows 🎀🍊✨

We’re firm believers that dressing up is good for the soul 😂💐 Give us the florals, the bows, the flowy dresses, the soft glam, and an excuse to turn a random day into a whole EVENT. Petals & Portraits was basically our permission slip to be a little extra and look how HAPPY everyone looks

There’s something special about having plans on the calendar that you actually get excited to get ready for. Picking the outfit, sending the “what are you wearing?!” texts, taking way too many pictures, and getting to be surrounded by girls who are just as excited to commit to the theme as you are. Tiny joys count. Being a little ridiculous counts. Romanticizing your life counts 💗

And we know it’s hard putting yourself out there. But most girls come to OC Cuties events solo and leave with voice memos, new group chats, weekend plans, inside jokes, and friends who genuinely cheer for them

So yes, we WILL continue inventing reasons for you to wear the dress sitting in the back of your closet. It’s for your mental health 🎀😂✨

Follow @orangecountycuties for a women’s community in Orange County that cares less about looking popular and more about helping people actually connect 🍊✨

Things I don’t do as someone who has spent years creating spaces for women to make friends:

I don’t measure a successful event by how many people showed up. I don’t believe bigger automatically means better, because sometimes the smallest events are the ones where everyone actually talks and leaves knowing each other’s names.

I don’t expect people to magically become friends just because I put them in the same room. Adult friendship usually needs a little help. It needs conversation starters, shared experiences, repeat opportunities to see the same faces, and spaces where people actually feel comfortable enough to be themselves.

I don’t take it personally when someone comes once and never comes again. Not every event, personality, season of life, or community is going to be the perfect fit for every person, and that’s okay.

I don’t think every activity needs alc0h0l to make people socialize. I don’t make people prove they’re “cool enough” to belong. And I definitely don’t think friendship should feel like networking.

OC Cuties has never been about collecting the biggest crowd possible. It’s about creating more chances for women to walk into a room alone, feel welcomed, have an actual conversation, and maybe leave with someone they genuinely want to see again 🥹💗

Because to me, success isn’t 100 people in a room who never speak again. Sometimes it’s two girls exchanging numbers, a new group chat starting after dinner, someone finally having plans for the weekend, or a girl realizing she doesn’t feel quite as alone in Orange County anymore.

Follow @orangecountycuties for beginner friendly workouts, cute things to do, and a community of women making it a little easier to find your people in Orange County 🍊🎀✨

Things I’ve learned from hosting workout classes for girls in Orange County: almost everyone is nervous at first, way more girls come alone than you think, nobody cares if you’re a beginner, and the workout is rarely the best part.

Because yes, we’re technically there to work out. But some of my favorite moments happen before the instructor even starts or after everyone is sweaty and hanging around way longer than necessary 😂💗 It’s the girl who came alone realizing half the room did too. It’s someone admitting she hasn’t worked out in forever and immediately hearing “same.” It’s exchanging Instagrams after class, grabbing a drink afterward, recognizing each other at the next event, and eventually making plans that have absolutely nothing to do with working out.

The biggest thing I’ve learned is that women really do want more female friendships. So many of us want girls to grab dinner with, try new things with, send voice memos to, and text on a random Saturday when we want to get out of the house. We just don’t always know where to start.

Sometimes starting looks surprisingly simple: sign up for the workout class. Show up nervous. Put your mat next to someone you don’t know. Say hi 🥹🫶🏼

You might get a workout in, but you might also leave with plans for next weekend.

Day three at Nashville Superspeedway might’ve been the coolest one yet 🏁❤️ Getting to walk on the track before the NASCAR Cup Series race has to be in my top five coolest experiences ever.

This house roots for Toyota thanks to my boyfriend, and I may or may not have bought a Denny Hamlin shirt just because I liked the colors… then he went on to win that night. I’m not saying I was the good luck charm, but I’m also not not saying it 😂✨ taken in Nashville, Tennessee by @lovesaviy
