It’s been a little while… 🤍

The last few months have been filled with navigating life postpartum, becoming a mom of two, slowing down, and learning a new rhythm while running a practice and caring for the little humans who matter most.

Behind the scenes, I’ve been healing, creating, building, and slowly making my way back to seeing my clients again. And now, it feels like the right time to come back here, too.

If you’re new here, hi. I’m Shayda—a therapist, breathwork facilitator, and lover of all things mind-body healing. I believe healing happens through our thoughts, our bodies, our nervous systems, and the way we learn to reconnect with ourselves.

This space will be a blend of psychology, nervous system education, breathwork, motherhood, creativity, wellness, and the beautifully messy process of being human.

I’m so glad you’re here. Here’s to new seasons, slow growth, and beginning again. ✨🤍

The training matters. The modality matters. But feeling safe, seen, and genuinely connected with your therapist? That’s where the magic happens. 🫶🏼

Faith is trusting that just because you can’t see the path yet doesn’t mean it isn’t unfolding. 🤍

Some seasons give you clarity. Others ask you to keep walking without it.

To trust the timing.
To listen inward.
To loosen your grip on needing to know exactly how it all works out.

You don’t need to see the whole road to take the next step.

Sometimes faith is simply believing you’re being led somewhere meaningful—even while the way there is still revealing itself. ✨

I was just talking to a friend, joking about how we only really get 2 weeks a month where things feel “normal” 😂 IYKYK 🫶🏼 Life really did change for me when I started to understand how the phases of a menstrual cycle impact our mood + body and what we can do to help ourselves navigate the highs and the lows. Not only did it impact my well-being and how I show up for myself, it is also woven into my work with women as a mind body psychotherapist. It is so upsetting that menstrual cycle health education is not widely taught in schools or focused on in women’s health or even in our yearly check ups!

Who else has independently studied and learned everything about the menstrual cycle on their own? I’m so curious. How has it changed your life?

I could talk about it for hours! 💁🏻‍♀️ If you know what phase you’re in drop a comment!
