This girl has the biggest heart for the dogs we bring in. 🥹🫶 She says one day she’s going to have an “aesthetic tiny house” for her and her many rescue dogs and I honestly believe that wholeheartedly. This is the part of fostering as a family that’s so special—- watching your kids’ compassion and empathy grow like wild.

Oh, in case you missed it— this is our new foster puppy, Koby. He’s a 6 month old doodle who was relinquished and needs some time to learn to trust and work on socialization. But I’d say he’s already doing real good.

Some dogs have stories the same way humans have stories and I’m real glad Gracie’s story got intertwined with ours forever. This time last year I absolutely did not see this coming. 😂🫣

Adopting a dog with big needs isn’t for the weak. Especially when I’ve chosen to share her on social media. I’ve been called a dog abuser by internet trolls on many occasions simply because the dog we chose to love doesn’t always look “typical”. They don’t know me, obviously if they did they know that’s the furthest thing from the truth. But this is just a reminder that when a video pops up on your page, you’re seeing the tiniest glimpse of a much, much larger story. Be kind 🤍

My best friend is TWO years old today ♥️ She is the most perfect angel in the entire world and she brings our whole family so much joy!! Even though I literally have to clean twice as much to own a dog like her, she is worth every single golden tumbleweed and more. To you she may just be a dog with a silly tongue, but to me she is the true definition of resilience. She was dealt a shitty hand at life due to the greed and neglect of her shameful breeder and was ultimately set up to die. But something in her little body kept on fighting —for MONTHS. And during that time she sneakily wove her way right into our hearts and became a forever a part of our daily circus and our story.

We love the hell out of her if you can’t tell. Happy birthday Gracie girl.

I’m so glad she proved him wrong 😝 Our 3 week commitment to this group of puppies is officially over. They left for their spay and neuter this morning and will be adoptable in the next few days! DM me if you’d like the info to apply.
