Changing outcomes for children and young people impacted by mental health

POSTS STORIES REELS

Our friends from @lovesquaredcharity joined us at our Brentry allotment on Tuesday for one of our occasional intergenerational sessions. We had a wonderful afternoon carving pumpkins, making autumn leaf hedgehogs and gardening together 🎃

These sessions began as pilots through Alive’s STANd intergenerational project almost three years ago, and it’s been lovely to watch close relationships grow between the older and younger participants.

This was our last intergenerational session of the year, but we’re already planning for February half term 🍂

We had the last of our summer collaboration sessions with our friends at @lovesquaredcharity last week - officially our busiest session since opening five years ago, and a wonderful way to sign off summer. 🦋

Everyone had fun making butterfly puddlers, doing scavenger hunts in pairs, picking blackberries, watering (obviously), feeding chicken John’s “girlies,” and making homemade juices.

Watching relationships grow over the afternoon was a joy, and we can’t wait to welcome Love Squared back in the autumn half term. 💚
